gregstephens
Made with real sugar, too. :pepsi: F**k training camp and Hard Knocks. Let's just skip straight to week 1.What exactly did he expect Carson to say? "If you thought last year was bad, you ain't seen nothing yet,"? Bearcat1975
I like what Carson is doing. Enthusiasm is contagious just like half-assing it is contagious. So enthusiasm is a good thing and I would expect nothing less from our franchise QB.That being said, I wonder if Carson's enthusiasm has worked on his play action pass this offseason. A big problem coming back from injuries is that it tends to slow development and improvement. We shall see. But if he comes out in preseason with that clunky awkward play action, they might as well not even do it.
COB
Carson seems to not only be driving the bandwagon, he's shilling through a megaphone in every direction. Carson, keep your eyes on the road! Also, I would guess Chad is going to need about ten yards of separation berfore Carson will throw him the ball. I get the feeling he'll be looking to throw it elsewhere if at all possible.
Spor_tees
I think they need to come up with a new play action pass play where they hide the football up Chad's a$$.
DC_Bengals_Fan
Damn, now Carson's got me all jacked up!After reading that, I'm convinced that not getting rid of Chad was a mistake. All the younger guys seem to buy in to what Carson's doing.
walzav29
At this point people look up to Carson more than Chad. Look who Chad was looking up to when he got with Cincy. Spikes and Dillon. I'm telling you it's noit a coincidence. I love Palmer. Seems strange that these guys were close once.
Bearcat1975
I love Palmer. Seems strange that these guys were close once.If you mean Carson and Chad, I don't know if they were ever close. I remember a fluff piece about them both going to see a Colts game together but that was early on. In 2005 everybody was all chummy because that's what winning will do.If they ever were close, they haven't been since 2005. Since then all I have seen is a whole lot of yelling, dirty looks, missed routes, pouting, and of course losing. Not exactly best friends.
