We all have our quirks, ehh?

For example, Shank and you often write fruit filled roll ups...due to your reluctance to accept comparisons of apples to oranges and oranges to apples.

Derek and I cannot be compared, it's like comparing ...... umm ....... never mind. Army, kick him in the nuts.

As already mentioned, we have moved up to large spikes or nothing at all... What do they say ??

Go big or go home ?? There you go then...

I used to love fruit roll ups!

What do you have against fruit Hair?

Just a guess, but I'm thinking Cindy McCain/Sarah Palin/Katie Blackburn must not like fruit. If they aren't good enough for either of the future Mrs. Hairs, then...

While I may agree that Chad still has the ability and losing does in fact suck, there is absolutely no way to justify his actions. The thing is, will he make a concerted effort to actually help the team win or will he give the same effort he gave last year with dropped balls ?? What is the status of his injured shoulder the team has asked him repeatedly to have surgery on that he has refused to do ??

If he had the right mindset and the shoulder won't be an issue, then it's all good to go, but no one here is naive enough to go to that well again and expect things to work out. The poison has taken it's toll on the team and the fans and if I was given the chance to say one thing to him, you all know what that would be !!!

I hope we come out of the first 4 games 4-0. Chad will find a new sense of motivation... Seriously this is only about winning. I'd quit a losing ass team too if I were Chad. He's lost his competitive nature because of all the sucking. Chad still has the talent.

You mean you're the type who quits when things aren't going good? Just like Chad? That's not the type of attitude I'd want in any organization.

You're right, it's about winning, and the fact that Chad's not willing to do the things it takes to *become* a winner. Oh, sure, he's glad to hog the spotlight when his teammates have worked hard to build a winning team, but he's not willing to do the heavy lifting to get there.

It's to the point where if he shows up and pulls this crap in training camp, I'd release him. Or I'd trade him to the Lions for a conditional 7th round pick, just to exile his ass to Deee-troit.

If Chad really does remain a Bengal my greatest hope isn't that he suddenly rediscovers what it means to be a professional. Rather, I'm hoping ALL Bengal fans stop making excuses for him and thereby subject him to even greater levels of hatred and disdain.

I'm not joking. The man made his bed in a very deliberate and calculated manner, and one of the reasons this team remains a losing organization is precisely because of unprofessional overpaid douchebags like Chad. So if this team refuses to trade Chad for less than he's worth, an act that would richly reward his stupidity, let him lie in the bed he made.

Because when you get right down to it who amongst us really gives a s**t if Chad is unhappy? Who amongst us didn't laugh when you heard Chad was in tears? In fact, who amongst us wouldn't welcome the news of Chad being punched out by a fellow Bengal who had grown tired of his constant complaining and selfish behavior?

I numbered the above statements and will respond accordingly...

#1. I don't, in fact there's a certain warm fuzzy feeling I get thinking about him being miserable. Is that wrong ??

#2. I still take great pleasure thinking about Chad crying and whining like a little girl. I would pay money for a picture of him sobbing like the one that was out there with Hines Ward crying.

#3. I actually think it would be a good idea to raise funds for the fine that would be imposed for the player that would in fact do the deed. We could hire them for the job. Heck, I might even ask them to kick him in the nuts !!!

Bottom line, F*CK CHAD !!!

As great as all that is, keeping Chad takes money away from other players we could get that would be productive, not to mention a roster spot. Also, keeping him here carries the risk of him being a distraction and disrupting the team's attempt to turn things around.

It'd be best for the team to get rid of him, but it still think it would be great if Marvin just put him on the bench all year.

Why would there be a fine? It's not a mandatory response, right? Rather, it's something teams do of their own discretion. Furthermore, player discipline is the type of thing that is very often handled internally...behind closed doors. So whose to say the Chad puncher doesn't get off without so much as a stern warning? Whose to say this teams higher ups don't send their own message by refusing to discipline the guy who punches Chad golden fronts down his throat?

If Dave Lapham was right about more than half the roster wanting to see Chad gone then why do so many Bengal players continue to support Chad when microphones are thrust in their face? And before anyone reminds me of the unwritten code of the locker room let me point out how that code has already been shattered by Chad himself.

Obviously, my original response was directed at Bengal fans who still make excuses for Chad behavior, but when you get right down to it one of this teams greatest core problems has always been the way this team has failed to control unprofessional players like Chad. And on that score it's Marvin and soP that usually get the blame. We all get that, and it's a fair criticism. But where's the locker room justice that is so typical on other teams? Why is it that only prickish scrubs like Reggie Myles get bounced off the floor by this teams locker room enforcers?

Paging Hugh "Hitman" Douglas. Mr. Douglas, you're needed at PBS.

What do you mean man, Chad's been here since 2001. He did do a GOOD amount of heavy lifting to get the Bengals to the playoffs in 2005. He's paid his dues here in Cincy. Don't give me this bullcrap just because Chad's had a change of heart. This team has regressed and in Chad's eyes, he's stuck on a team who doesn't want to win (MB). Mike Brown is the worst owner in all of sports and Chad has realized that. Apparently all of you seem to forget every single year, at the begining of every year, that MB doesn't care about winning.

So right now I'm torn. I hate the way Chad is going about wanting out, I hate that he is throwing so much talent to waste, and I hate that he is hurting our team but I can't say I don't blame the guy.

Chad want to be on a winning team and regardless of what Mike Brown does or doesn't do, he should be making ALL efforts to make the team a winner. He signed a contract to do just that. Not for one or two years of the contract, but for the whole thing. Last time I checked we can't take money back from him when he does what he did last year in having the worst year of his career since he was a rookie, so f*ck him.

I can understand wanting to win and the desire to be the best. No one that I know of competes to lose, but they don't quit or halfass it either...

I also am not familiar with the part of the definition of 'winner' that includes crying to your boyfriend because you can't be traded to the Steelers or Patriots, or some other team that has an excellent shot at the trophy even without your ball-dropping, temper-tantrum-throwing, name-changing-to-draw-attention, sorry tail. I need to consult 'Webster's' on this one.

A funny thought to this is, he went through the trouble of changing his name and now will be able to have it on jerseys.

Anyone buying ??

Anyone ??

Not only won't I buy one of the new jerseys....I refuse to use his new name when writing about Chad. Rather, I'll continue calling the guy Chad Johnson OR using one of the many nicknames that have been bestowed upon Chad after his "it's not about the money" cross country pity tour.

Ocho Douche. Ocho Stinko. Ocho Crybaby. Flava Flav. Fredo. Or my own personal favorite, Mister Bojangles.
