HoosierCat Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 So now we have 2 Hobsons.http://www.bengals.com/news/news.asp?story_id=7341Interesting pickup. Wonder if they are thinking of trying to keep him around in '09. He was a decent LB for the Jets, just didn't suit the switch to a 3-4. Quote
gregstephens Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 I'm glad Butch finally got that pesky nephew a job. Quote
volcom69 Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Im kind of suprised he lasted this long out there i thought someone would have picked him up, i think its a nice pick up. Quote
Passepartout Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Seems like a nice pickup that last a pretty good time, hopefully. Quote
HAPPYJAQ Posted December 6, 2008 Report Posted December 6, 2008 In the lines of the Dhani Jones/Ced Benson signings. A talented player, sure enough. I think he has a chance to play here and could surprise. He was very good with the Jets, decent in Oakland. He also could be the starting SLB next season if Jeanty leaves, who is an UFA, I believe. I would like to see B. Johnson, Rivers and a draftee in '09. Dhani has quietly had a career year, though. Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 16, 2008 Author Report Posted December 16, 2008 Well, so much for that. Hobson was waived today. Quote
