chrishcovga
There was a report during the Bengals game that Tomorrow, Carson Palmer will visit Dr. James Andrews the Orthopaedic Specialist in Alabama for his ailing Elbow. The report said, that Palmer, has numbness in his fingertips, soreness and swelling in the Elbow. All I can say is.... Tommy Johns Surgery!! - If that's the case, You can write off the rest of the 2008 Season for any type of wins at all. The Best scenario I can give you for Bengal victories without Carson Palmer this year, and maybe even with him under center is the Texans Game, and the Ravens game late in the season. That's 2-14 all over again. We're going to finish the '08 season worse than the St. Louis Rams... You can write it down!!
volcom69
Makes no sense Marvin said Carson is fine and they sat him to get him ready for next weeks game, something seems really weird here. What a joke, this team is flat out a big joke thanks Mike Brown and Marvin Lewis great job, im really starting to hate football season anymore. ShulaSteakhouse
I can't even get that emotional about it any more, I just don't care really. I don't go to games, haven't for 3 years now, don't own a single item of Bengals' merchandise and won't. 4 people I know are definitely giving up their PSL's and season tickets after this season, and are having a lot of trouble selling the ones they have now (that's what you get for investing in a bad business/product).The people who keep re-newing season tickets, buying those silly jersies and going to games, can keep enabling Brown and watching crap like today all they want - doesn't matter to me anymore at all.2005 is the best you'll get every 15 years or so. volcom69
Yep i cant see myself caring much more either for along time i put alot into this team but im done also, havent bought any bungles stuff for awhile now and dont plan on it either. I find it hard to support a pathetic team like the one Marvin coaches and puts on the field. Dont get me wrong ive been a fan for to long to stop rooting for this team but it just gets hard after seeing the performance this year and others, but ill always be around lol. Hey maybe one year before i die they will win something.
Spor_tees
I think I might start working Sundays and just forget about this season. I am tired of taking the day off and then sitting around pissed off and depressed all day. I might as well work and make some money. If it wasn't for fantasy football, Sundays in the fall wouldn't be any different than those in the summer.
gregstephens
Guys...big picture time here. Anytime James Andrews' name is mentioned, it is not good. It could be anything from the obvious elbow problem to a neck issue. Let's concentrate now on hoping Palmer is ok.
volcom69
You bet greg, but i still wonder why Marvin is sayin Palmer is fine they were just resting him for the next game to give it some rest. I agree lets hope he is ok

I agree lets hope he is okOne of several reasons:1. Gamesmanship again.2. Lewis has already written off the season like we have.3. Lewis has no clue what he is talking about.4. All of the above.5. None of the above.6. Two and three but not one.I vote number 6.
volcom69
Well if has written off the season then he should have some gamenship and walk away now this team sure as hell dosnt need him its not like they listen to him anyways
Ickey44
If there is something wrong with Palmer's elbow, he may as well get it fixed now, cause this team's season is over. Start playing the rookies and get them some experience. Marvin, quit now. Mikey boy, sell the team and move out of country. You've ruined your father's legacy. What a joke, this team is flat out a big joke thanks Mike Brown and Marvin Lewis great job, im really starting to hate football season anymore. It doesn't make sense at all!! Marvin and Co. say all week that THEY NEED A WIN, AND IT'S A MUST WIN, but you sit your starting Quarterback against a team whose pass rush is as anemic as your own, to start him against a team ON THE ROAD, to the Potential Super Bowl representative of the NFC ??? That has 2 (TWO) Pro Bowl pass rushers in Demarcus Ware, and Greg Ellis ????There has to be Something Wrong, or Marvin Is Trying to get fired!! volcom69
If hes baggin it in then quite man i cant stand Marvin anymore they lose with him or without him and right now i would rater lose without him. He has not coached this team right for along time so if he dosnt want to be there then great pack your bags and leave i doubt half the players want you either. I've got season tickets with my sister since 2005. I probably won't give up the seat license but just sell all the games at once next summer. This way I don't lose the money for the seat license by having to sell it for less than I paid for it. However, if it becomes difficult to sell the games at face value then I may consider selling the seat license and the tickets. I just put my tickets on Stubhub for the Steelers game. I should get at least $150 for each ticket, which isn't too bad. I hate to miss a home game but the frustration is 5x than normal when we lose and there is 15 to 20 thousand Steeler fans there.
