UK Bengal Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 14-0 up over the colts seconds 21 play TD drive and colts with 1 yd of offence pleased with that so far Quote
derekshank Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 This game will probably serve as a stepping stone for the Carson Palmer bashing. Fitzpatrick has looked really good. Quote
volcom69 Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Well against there backups i guess there doing pretty good i would have liked to have seen better running game out of it. The defense has been playing fast and aggresive which is how i hope they come out and play againt the Ravens, but at least we had a drive of 21 plays or so lol. Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 This game will probably serve as a stepping stone for the Carson Palmer bashing. Fitzpatrick has looked really good. He's been our best RB tonight... Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Someone named "F. Rucker" just made a play...Rucker...Rucker...nope, doesn't ring a bell... Quote
UK Bengal Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 looks like quinn grey is done 0-2 and a lost fumble Quote
derekshank Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 This game will probably serve as a stepping stone for the Carson Palmer bashing. Fitzpatrick has looked really good. He's been our best RB tonight...In most cases not because of terrible pressure either. The O-line hasn't had the breakdowns like they did against the Saints. Of course - Indy looks terribly vanilla. Quote
UK Bengal Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 yes the frostie snowman made a play a tackle for a loss no less !!!! Quote
derekshank Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Someone named "F. Rucker" just made a play...Rucker...Rucker...nope, doesn't ring a bell...Yeah... but Brooks was in there getting pressure on the QB. I don't care that it's against 3rd stringers. I'll take anything I can get for some positive news out of Brooks. Quote
UK Bengal Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 hes apparently been moved back to the middle his better pos so he needs an outstanding display tonite Quote
UK Bengal Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 frostie with another tackle for a loss wow!! Quote
rwalling Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Do the Colts have IU's offensive line in? Frostee has three tackles?! Quote
cincyhokie Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 This game will probably serve as a stepping stone for the Carson Palmer bashing. Fitzpatrick has looked really good.I will say this...Carson is obviously the better QB but if the O-line continues to look suspect, it's not crazy to think that Fitzpatrick is the more effective QB of the 2....behind a bad O-line. The man can scramble and make something out of nothing. Quote
gregstephens Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 no Rudi or TJ again? If Rudi sees no action, that's not a good sign to me. That means they are serious about dangling him for trade bait and making sure he doesn't get hurt to blow the deal. Quote
UK Bengal Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 TJ and rudi warmed up but apparently will not go Quote
rwalling Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 I see Mike Hart is well on his way to being the next Adrian Peterson (snicker: Go Bucks!) Quote
volcom69 Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 They said before the game the if Carson dosnt play that TJ wont play cause there is no need for him to get a rythem with Ryan so he didnt play. As for Rudi he is supposed to play later but not starting. Quote
UK Bengal Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 lol when have we ever said this about the bengals Run D keeping the colts to -5 yards rushing granted its the seconds/thirds but its nice to see Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 I wouldn't read too much into this game, the Colts are resting everyone, we got Fitz starting, no Rudi & TJ at least to begin with, etc. Nice to see the Bengals up, but this is basically a glorified scrimmage of second-plus teams. Quote
volcom69 Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Yea but they did start the O-line for awhile and i would have liked to have seen a better run game from these guys. Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 THAT'S the special teams we know and love! Welcome back guys! Quote
gregstephens Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 That kick off return was ugly. Quote
HAPPYJAQ Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Courtney Roby? Wasn't he a Bengal last year. Good to see that Keiwan Ratliff hasn't forgot how to perform his patented 1-yard shuffle on PR's. Quote
