derekshank
This probably means the Chad injury is fairly serious.
chrishcovga
Good !! I'm glad to have him back. I would've loved to see O'Dell make it back this year, too, but he's a dumarse!!Here's to David Pollack coming back in '09!!
volcom69
Not really sure if it has anything to do with Chads injury or not i think they have been wanting to sign him back with the young WR not showing much. Chad getting hurt just made them want him even more so i wouldnt look into that to much with chads injury.

HoosierCat
And Marvin Lewis's integrity slowly spins down the shi**er. Ding.We all know he didn't want Henry back. He's made that clear. So who's call was this? (Hint: he's a "redeemer.")
chrishcovga
The 2008 Bengal wide receivers ....1. Chad Johnson - " Wah wah wah, I don't want to be a Bengal " 2. T. J. Houshmandzadeh - " Wah wah wah, I want more Internet Money, or I'll go on strike like Canada " 3. Chris Henry - " Wah wah wah, Why am I suspended for 4 games when I the chargers were dropped ? "4. Jerome Simpson - " Wah wah wah, With Chris Henry back, there goes my playing opportunities to get better, faster ! "5. Andre Caldwell - " Wah Wah Wah, I'm another Florida Wide receiver that goes bust as soon as I come out of the box! "6. And the Mystery crying wide receiver now is........Marcus-Glenn-Antonio-Mario-Purify! - I guess that'll be what we'll call this monstrosity that will come out of Dr. Brundle's tele-porter to play significantly as our primary punt and kick returner!!I've heard of the " Fun Bunch ", The " Three Amigos " but will the rest of the NFL name our guys , " The Crying Game "?? Tee
Wow.I'm at a loss for words. The F***** can't even play until week 5. IF he gets re-instated.dammit Brown.... let this fool go.

IF he gets re-instated.dammit Brown.... let this fool go. This move, obviously orchestrated by Mike Brown, does nothing but undermine Marvin's authority. Coach Lewis made it plain he did not want Henry back. No wonder the team looks confused on the field. It simply reflect what's going on up stairs in the teams offices. Gone is the upbeat, enthusiastic man from just a few years ago. It is apparent that he is losing the battle and the war at the same time. Also, how can Henry help if he is suspended for the first four? ChadJohnson-85
In a way I'm glad, but in another way I'm upset...1. We got THE BEST 3rd WR in the NFL back. 2. Like Tee said, he might not even get re-instated. Plus he'll most likely get into trouble (again)....
BengalszoneBilly
I'd just like to quote Marvin Lewis, and I hope like hell the media lights his a$$ up about it:ESPN, July 22Marvin Lewis"I'm not interested," Lewis told reporters Tuesday, before the team's annual preseason luncheon. "I don't think it would be productive for our football team. You have to be a productive part to be an NFL player, and there's responsibilities to being an NFL player. It's a privilege, it's not a right. There's a lot that comes with being an NFL football player.
ShulaSteakhouse
Mike Brown 7/22:"That's all history now," Brown said. "We're going forward and trying to go forward with the kind of guys we can count on, the kind of guys who are not just good players but good citizens."Uh, ok, whatever. MARVIN=W'S
Good addition on the field. Idiot everywhere else. We need the help. I'll take it.
bwillycuse
Regardless of what was said by management, I like that Chris is back. He has unfinished business. Hopefully the Bengals have a shot at getting the suspension canceled. Especially since the prosecution dropped the case since the fact that the 'victims' charges would not be lowered and that the 'victim' asked for a settlement from Henry.Henry is a $%^^%^%$, but we could do worse at WR. BengalszoneBilly
Henry is a $%^^%^%$, but we could do worse at WR.Unlike where we stand in the front office department. I loved how they handled the Chad Johnson situation, but this flip flop on a stand they allegedly made to take the high road smacks of a political campaign. cincyhokie
This organization will never amount to s**t until they get an identity that states their direction, promotes what the hell they stand for, how they conduct business, and an identity that actually holds themselves and the players ACCOUNTABLE for their actions. While Henry is an upgrade on the field, this is a MAJOR step backward from the direction they looked like they were trying to find. This team is a joke, has been a joke, and will remain a joke as long as Mike Brown is in control of day to day operations.Henry will not be a savior for this team. This team needs to aggressively pursue solutions to problems on BOTH sides of the ball that occur year in and year out (i.e. addressing the defensive line, offensive line, and coaching...BRAT!!!!)
