ShulaSteakhouse
Watching Fitz scramble and step up away from the pressure there makes you wonder if Palmer is being too reliant on others and not trying to make enough plays with his feet. Palmer has to do a better job of buying time and they have to change some things in the passing game. The 0-line isn't magically going to get better. Watson looking really good again, Whitworth has pulled and done a good job tonight twice tonight alreadyGuy-chick, Levi and Andrews seem to be weak links. ShulaSteakhouse
I have no idea what Utecht was doing there. Catch with your hands not your body/facemask. Fitz threw a dart. Utecht was wiiide open.
johnson85
damn Utecht just dropped a pass wide open....but its nice having a TE wide open to throw to lol
HAPPYJAQ
Utecht, the ball hits him right in the numbers and is dropped. Fitzpatrick looks very good and showing some ability to make some plays running. Kinda reminds me of Romo, a little. Watson doing his thing. Williams playing well at C. Chatman sucks! HAPPYJAQ
Fitzpatrick is officially dangerous running the ball, with a nice 15-yard gain on 3rd and long. He's looking very good, so far. No sign of Caldwell or Simpson so far in the game, which is surprising. Bengals attempting to score at the 2-minute warning.
Kazkal
Wasn't carson considered somewhat athletic when coming out of collage?

You DO NOT lose at home against Detroit. I don't care if it's pre-season or not!

HAPPYJAQ
TD, Holt! Fotzpatrick with a 99-yard drive and he has looked VERY, VERY impressive, showing good arm strength on the TD pass. He has great scrambling ability, too. Holt has played well with a couple of real nice catches including a sliding catch in the end zone. Williams is now out of the game, replaced by Giauchic, but played well with the 1st team OL at C.
ShulaSteakhouse
Wasn't carson considered somewhat athletic when coming out of collage? Two knee surgeries later after playing for the Bengals, and he seems determined to become another late career Bledsoe. Even Peyton Manning moves around more than Palmer does these days. I don't understand why Palmer's mechanics and drops are still as bad as they were last year. Some of the lack of a pocket stuff, might just be from him not dropping back far enough and the line's splits etc.., It's weird they are still doing the same things. volcom69
I thought williams did a pretty good job at Center also, but i would like to know whos starting come regular season
ShulaSteakhouse
Chalk up two more hard hits for White tonight, for no or little gain. Love seeing that, one on a short pass and one on a running play up the gut. Nice. Will be nice to have Duke Nuke 'em back.
volcom69
D- playin pretty good against 2nd string guys i just wondered what would of happend if Kitna stayed in and played that could of got scary. This team has alot of questions so they need to get back and start workin or it could be a long season.
HAPPYJAQ
Marvin White is having a good game so far and is a big-time hitter. I can't remember the last Bengals safety that consistently hits like him and his tackling has been better. It just sounds different, even on TV. Blackstock showing his speed again with another nice backside tackle on a wide-open screen pass. He's been impressive. I think the LB's, with Jones, Rivers, Johnson, Blackstock, Jeanty and Brooks are the best in a while, so far..definitely the most athletic. All of them are starting caliber. At WR, Maxwell has looked good. He kind of reminds me of David Dunn, from back in the Blake days. Chatman has made some catches, but is giving them no RAC yards and appears that he's lost his starting PR position, with Deltha back there. Holt has maybe cemented himself with some nice plays from scrimmage and some good ST's plays, too. Chad, T.J., Caldwell, Simpson, Holt and Maxwell look to be what makes opening day, depending on injury, with Chatman on the outside looking in. Urrutia and Purify need to show something soon. I am excited to see them and James Johson, hopefully, in the 2nd half. I see the Bengals making a call to Henry's agent this week.
volcom69
I would like to see more of that Jurassic Line and i would like them to start with that to see if they can actully run the ball more. Maybe next week they will start
