HairOnFire Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 There's your DT, boys. I hear Hair's worries on him, but living down here in western TN, I can tell you that SEC fans thought he was a beast coming for next year, and were glad he went pro now. Hopefully Zimmer can develop him. He's got upside. Well there you go because if I were to draw up a list of juniors who would have benefited from another year of college ball I would have ranked Sims at the very top.
membengal Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 I think that's where you are in agreement with SEC fans hair. As good as he was getting, they were really glad that he was getting out before finishing his development in his senior season...It's not a sure thing, picking Sims, by any stretch of the imagination, but the guy has ridiculous size and strength, and good speed. Hopefully, this particular coaching staff can help him access his inner beast consistently.Fwiw, he's better than John Thornton. Right now.
ArmyBengal Posted April 27, 2008 Author Report Posted April 27, 2008 There is a thread open discussing the Sims pick...WHODEY !!!

GregCook Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 The pick thread is open, so let's keep this one focused on the next pick in the 3rd round please...WHODEY !!!Lex Hillard (RB) from Montana anyone or Tashard Choice from Georgia ?
ArmyBengal Posted April 27, 2008 Author Report Posted April 27, 2008 Scandrick is still there...WHODEY !!!
HairOnFire Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Put me in the camp that wouldn't mind double dipping at DT by picking Dre Moore. I also think there's great value right now at CB. Still a S or two that I'd like to see in stripes. It's also time to start looking at OG.
BTG Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Trade going on...ESPN's too busy talking about Matt Ryan. God almighty.
