volcom69
I will never blame chad for this losing season i blame the pathetic coaching staff that we had and really we still have. Im just not to sure this season will be any better then anyother unless Marvin actully decides to take this team in his hands and do something instead of letting everyone get away with everything. Im just not to sure if this team would really have this problem with guys wanting traded with guys getting in trouble with all the distractions if Marvin wasnt here to me he lost this team and i really hope he finds a way to get it back otherwise we will be trying to figure out who to blame again. I guess we will see what happens, but i will never blame Chad on this whole season certain times this year he really needed to grow up, but this year was Marvins fault, and he better find that way to bring back his team. Bobcat Bengal
I'm not going to defend the fumble anymore,Whaa...? Who are you? Where's my favorite Chad supporter?I'm sorry but Chad aint the one that screwed this season up,Okay, I've stopped hyperventilating. So with that being said, I brand you with the HATER stamp. There you are.Serioulsly dude, what's up with the Vijay avatar? I'm curious?Vijay is to me what Chad is to you, my favorite athlete. If you can call golfers athletes.Actually Chad isn't my favorite athlete. He's one of my favorite Bengals' players along with Housh and Palmer. If I had to pick my favorite athlete it would probably be Griffey Jr. He's just the perfect example of what an athlete should be on and off the field. Next in line is T.O. He's an awesome athlete, a freak of nature and I admire that. Could you imagine having the abilities that T.O. has? There's nothing about T.O. that I don't like, even the Philly version of T.O. was awesome. I'm a former 49ers fan, so I've liked T.O. from the start.Cmon money.....how you gonna be a 49er fan AND a Bengal fan? That's like being a Democrat and a Republican at the same time. COB
i blame the pathetic coaching staff that we had and really we still have.We replaced the D coordinator, and the defense was horrible. So we really don't have the same coaching staff at all. I disagree with the conclusory statement "Marvin lost this team." What evidence can you cite to support that statement? Because I believe the way they played at the end of the season, when playoffs were history and they had every opportunity to quit, shows just the opposite, that Marvin has not lost this team. This week the topic is "Play To The Whistle, or Play Until You Think The Play Is Over - A Roundtable Discussion".

I'll tell ya how, some of you may even remember the story... I was 5 when the Bengals went to the SB with the 49ers. After watching Joe Montana lead his team down the field to victory at the last minute, he became my favorite player. My family was basically in tears and I was too young to really understand. All I knew/felt was that Joe Montana had just done something miraculous and from that perspective it WAS pretty amazing. I idolized Joe as a kid and he's still my all-time favorite QB. Naturally, I stayed a fan of the 49ers when Steve Young became QB1 and lead the team all through the 90's. Plus there was ALWAYS a 49ers game on back then, so I got to watch a lot of them... Don't get me wrong, even though I went through a span of about 12-14 years as a 49ers fan, I rarely missed a Bengals game with my pa and still supported the home team. If the Bengals would've been in the SB in '95 against the 49ers, I'd be cheering for the Bengals.
