HoosierCat Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 About half the Colts fanbase was ready to kill themselves after that first play!Colts look off on offense but no surprise, it's game 1. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 7, 2007 Author Report Posted September 7, 2007 Manning and Harrison seem to be picking up right where they left off! Great throw and catch for a TD. Colts 7-0. Quote
Ox Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 Hmmm. Yahoo FF just gave me 7 points for my opponents TD by Marvin, even though I have Reggie Wayne. Fine with me but I doubt he'll like that. Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 So, the score so far is:Jason David, 7vs.Jason David, 7 Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 7, 2007 Author Report Posted September 7, 2007 Jesus...could they cram Peyton Manning into anymore commercials if they tried? Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 The Pepsi/Jerry Jones are pretty good, tho... "Do I have to do everything around here?" Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 7, 2007 Author Report Posted September 7, 2007 What a "shootout". 10 - 10 at the half? Who'd a thunk it? Quote
DC_Bengals_Fan Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 Jesus...could they cram Peyton Manning into anymore commercials if they tried? Only if they shove him into one of the million commercials they've run so far for that "Chuck" show, which looks like a complete piece of sh*t.EDIT: As an aside, can we get Costas, Tiki, and Olbermann off the damned show? They're terrible. Quote

I understand that there is a bill in the state legislature that will change the name of Indianapolis to "Peytonapolis." Quote

There are some sucky NFC teams, but New Orleans isn't one of them IMHO. Quote

HoosierCat Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 Well, looks like the Colts are ready for the season, post and otherwise...sheesh...What a beat-down... Quote
Stripes Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 Looks like the 2004 Colts offense might be back... that was perfect execution throughout the second half. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 7, 2007 Author Report Posted September 7, 2007 All I got to say is look what a good offense and a solid defense gets you! Out of the Saints 12 possessions, 5 ended in punts, 2 by INT, and one lost fumble. I just pray Bresnahan was at home watching the game and taking notes. Quote
Stripes Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 Zone coverage can and does work! Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 A bunch of us got up at 4:30am to watch the game and everyone was amazed at how the Colt offense looked like they never took time off during the offseason. Their defense is doing well even with the loss of both starting corners from last year and that new LB #54 was all over the field. Couple todays performance with a relative easy schedule and this could be the year they go undefeated. Yes, they looked that good. New Orleans is about the best the NFC has to offer and still think they will be playing for the Superbowl this year...WHODEY !!! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 7, 2007 Author Report Posted September 7, 2007 New Orleans is about the best the NFC has to offer and still think they will be playing for the Superbowl this year...I think Chicago, Philadelphia, and Seattle are just as good if not better as far as the NFC goes. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 I'll give on that point Billy and would still rate all of those teams below (at least) NE, Indy, or SD...WHODEY !!! Quote
