Good news/ Bad News concerning Patriots

Good news is that Rodney H, and Richard Seymour are out for the Bengals week 4 game. If the Bengals can't beat them without those 2, then I would doubt they can beat them in the playoffs. Yes, I do believe Cincy is going to the playoffs.

If it's that we would have to be really disappointed if we can't beat them without those two guys, then I will certainly take that kind of bad news about now.

Those dudes are not going to be missed, they still will have Atrell Hawkins and Tory James so the Bengals receiver will be shut out that day. Hopefully Rudi will be able to pick up the slack.

If we lose to Brady or Manning and still manage a Superbowl win, Carson won't have to do anything else in my mind. He will be an instant Diety in Cincinnati !!! Why ?? Because Carson would have to have a HUGE game for the Bengals to make that happen, as opposed to lets say, uuuuum, the Steelers who won IN SPITE of Rottenfurburgers play at QB !!! Sorry, pointing out facts as opposed to starting any smack...

I honestly don't care who they lost on defense. The Bengals are going to handle them. I know I leave myself open to huge "scoreboard" combacks, but I think NE is greatly overrated. True, they won superbowls. Thanks to an accurate kicker at the end of a couple games. Remember Marv Levy? The NFL's resident genius, Bellicheck, basically is Marv Levy, except Bellicheck's kicker made those kicks and Levy's didn't. New England is going down.

NE's a top 5 team dude, they prove that they are one of the best. That's not overrated. We'll have a tough game against them even without Harrison and the other guy. Brady has WEAPONS this year and it'll come down to whether we can stop them (defensively) or not stop them.

I don't think you can get around the fact that if the Bengals are going to get to the Superbowl they will most likely bump into the Pats or Indy along the way. Look at the way those 2 handled everyone in the playoffs last year. Then they play eachother in a slug fest. All of the Raven/Charger hype was wiped out by Manning and Brady.

Manning also had a defense that played at a higher level last year and I still just don't see that from our defense. I've been saying it over and over again and one more time won't hurt. Let the Bengals defense play at the mid range of 15 and we are going to the Superbowl...
