combatbengal
The Bengals looked pretty good for the first time last night. I still think Johnson sucks at QB! Watson was an animal! The Def looked really good, compared to pass performance. We sign a kicker to fill in for Graham, and he's taken out on his first kick. Larson did a great job filling in on extra points and kick offs. Seeing that he doesn't practice for those situations, he did a good job. Game is on come Monday night! redsbengalsbucks
I wish they would have let Ocho Cinco try his foot on an extra point attempt. After all it was only a preseason game.

skyline
I really feel for Elling on this one. He knew all along that he was only going to be here for one game, but he still gives it his all by trying to make a tackle. Really unfortunate that he paid such a high price for it...What scared me the most was Larson getting into the action on kickoffs after Elling's injury. If I were a Bengals coach I would have instructed Larson to just let the guy return a kick for a touchdown rather than risk yet another injury by having a kicker trying to make a tackle. So actually, despite the pain and the injury, he makes out better financially this way.

Once he clears waivers, which he certainly will, he reverts to the Bengals IR list. I don't believe he gets his full salary, tho, but I dunno what the exact percentage is.
