COB Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 Callaway's website has an article about Carson's self-described golf addiction. I see another endorsement in his future.http://www.callawaygolf.com/en.cg.Features.CarsonPalmer.html Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 Carson Is Addicted, To Golf!Don't worry. I'm sure there's a 12 step program out there somewhere for him, and others like him. Quote
Edogger Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 I thought his game of choice was Cornhole? Quote
BengalPappaw Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 Don't underestimate the power of "golf addiction".I've struggled for years and am no where near overcoming this addiction. I can see it now-- Palmer backing out of the huddle during the game and practicing his golf swing.Or yelling "Fore" when he fires a pass toward CJ.I'd really like to help Carson with his addiction -- but I've got my own problems with golf!!! ArmyBengal Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 I'm not the golf fan by any means, but it would be funny to see Carson drop back in the shotgun and before snapping the ball, he tosses some grass into the air to determine the direction of the wind before launching a deep one to Chad !!!WHODEY !!! BengalPappaw Posted June 30, 2007 Report Posted June 30, 2007 I had one more thing to watch for with Carson's golf addictions -- Opponent on 4th and inches -- Carson's yelling "In the leather, it's a gimmee!" I might be able to bump into Carson while on one of my golf binges at Shaker Run or Waldon Ponds or Blue Ash or ?Remember the first step in curing an addiction is admitting that you have a problem -- but, I don't have a problem! I can quit any time I want! Quote
CJBestInAFC Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Hey you should go and check out Fox Run or Lassing Pointe in Kenton County. I also suffer from extreme golf addiction. My favorite course in the tristate area that is public is Elks Run. You should go and check that place out. I think it something around $90, which is close to what you pay at Shaker, and you get to play as much golf as you want because it is just one rate for the entire day. I played there last summer and played 36 holes. It was a great day. I fired a 75 for the first 18 and then shot 73 on my second round. It is a crazy hard golf course that features two different styles of golf. On the front it is open like a lynx style course, and then on the second nine it is cut out of the trees which has a creek running through 5 out of the nine holes. No fringe around the greens because it is a Greg Norman design. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 25 days til training camp...thank God, not sure I can wait that long....and then hopefully no more "Carson loves Golf and Chad racing horses" threads and stories.... Quote
