El Tigere Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 I would love Alan Branch but I dont think he will be there!I think we go with DE Charles Johnson!
duus Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 I would love Alan Branch but I dont think he will be there!I think we go with DE Charles Johnson!Yep, I think both Branch and Posluszny will be gone in the next 6 picks. Bummer.
rishipatel Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 God I hope Alan Branch is not there when we pick in the 2nd. He was the one guy I REALLY didn't want us to take in the 1st, and now there's a chance we'll get him in the 2nd. He has bust written all over him. Overweight, lazy, takes plays off, and now apparently has some injury concerns with shin splints. I think this is why we are not hearing anything about him today. I know we need more fat guys to clog the middle, but I'd prefer a late round guy with some upside.
membengal Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Looky there, did I hear that right? Did the Colts take Gonzalez? Hmmmm. An offensive team loaded at WR taking a WR here early. Go figure....
HoosierCat Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Looky there, did I hear that right? Did the Colts take Gonzalez? Hmmmm. An offensive team loaded at WR taking a WR here early. Go figure....Oh, will you get with the program? If you have a good O and bad D you have to fixate on D even if it means bypassing offensive pro bowlers!
membengal Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Dammit, hoosier. My bad. I am still having trouble reading my program...
membengal Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 At least the Colts understand about making sure their Pro-Bowl qb has ample targets during this their window of opportunity...
Whur CHad At? Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 some wr named calvin Johnson, never heard of him....
derekshank Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Looky there, did I hear that right? Did the Colts take Gonzalez? Hmmmm. An offensive team loaded at WR taking a WR here early. Go figure....Oh, will you get with the program? If you have a good O and bad D you have to fixate on D even if it means bypassing offensive pro bowlers! Well, their situation is a bit different. They've lost WR's. They don't have a WR other than Harrison and Wayne who caught even 10 passes last year. That, and Harrison is 35 and in his 13th year. The Bengals aren't quite in that situation with guys like Chris Henry, Tab Perry, Antonio Chatman, and high potential projects like McNeal, Holt, and Brazell. For the record... I'm okay with the idea of the Bengals selecting a TE here in the 2nd round if Zach Miller is available... so I'm not completely anti-offense.
TJJackson Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Thank god, Raiders took Branch....don't have to worry about him as a pick in r2
BlainThePain Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Thank god, Raiders took Branch....don't have to worry about him as a pick in r2Cards took Branch

Whur CHad At? Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 What about Dwayne Jarrett if he is there?
duus Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 I'm holding out hope for Harris at this point.
membengal Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Best receiver available or that TE from Arizona would be fine by me.
Whur CHad At? Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 I pray for Harris, but i mean Jarrett or Miller would be very nice offensive additions
ArmyBengal Posted April 28, 2007 Author Report Posted April 28, 2007 Jarrett wont make it past Tampa Bay... I think...WHODEY !!!
BlainThePain Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 What about Dwayne Jarrett if he is there? If we're going to take a WR, I'd rather it be Sidney Rice.
