Going to the Price is Right

So, this week is spring break and we flew to Vegas then drove to LA today to go to a taping of Price is Right. I've been watching the Price is Right my whole life and I love it so I wanted to get to a taping before Bob Barker retires. The taping begins at 2:30 tomorrow (Thursday) and we are currently sitting on the sidewalk outside of CBS studios waiting to get in. We got here at about 5pm today (Wednesday) and the gates open at 6am tomorrow morning...then theres more waiting to do inside. I am about #15 in line and there are probably 125-150 standing in line right now. I got lucky and was able to pick up a wireless signal from a hotel across the street so I have something to do for 15 hours.

Hopefully I'll get to come on down to meet Bob!

That's cool bro! My brother went about 10 years ago and got to "Come On Down!" He won some cheesy luggage and a stay at some Marriott. The bad part was while he was in taping the show some crooks broke into his rental car and stole all his stuff. Ya' win some...ya' lose some.

Hey they need to find crap to give away, why not steal it from the contestants cars!

I would hate to be the people who get a new dining set. I love the look on their faces because they are expecting a car

Well I just got back to Vegas from LA and The Price is Right. All i have to say is that it was AWESOME! It was well worth the wait. We waited in line all night... it actually went pretty fast. We took turns going back to the hotel to get some rest or a shower or something. We got into Television City and still had to sit around on benches outside the studio all day. We added up all the time we waited in line and it was around 19 hours.

But, we finally got into the studio at about 2:00. It was awesome. Its amazing how small the studio is. They make it look so much bigger on TV. No one I was with got to "come on down" but it was still very fun. Rich Fields, the announcer came out and talked to us for a few minutes then the show started right away. When Bob came through the big doors, the place went crazy. Between games, Bob would talk to the audience and answer questions and make jokes and stuff.

Since we got in line so early, I was #23 so we got some very good seats. We were 2 rows behind contestants row right in the middle so we were on camera the entire time. The show will air on April 23.

Haha, no I wasn't wearing a bengals shirt. I wore an Ohio University shirt. I did wear a Bengals sweatshirt all day in line but took it off when we go into the studio

But! We did sit right behind Rohnee, the Ben-gals cheerleader! That was weird. She overheard us that we were from Ohio and she turned around and was like Oh, I'm from Cincinnati, I'm a Ben-Gals cheerleader.
