Levi Jones and Joey Porter Fighting in Vegas (double merged)

Hobson is saying that Porter and six other people jumped Jones in the parking lot and he was robbed.

I can't believe that even Porter could be that stupid...

'Roid infested Steeler organization could have easily made him that stupid. It's not like he began with an intellectual step-up anyway. Combine that with his prolonged exposure to Pissburghers, and you can see that stupidity is a slam-dunk.

So, ya gotta think that 1. Levi got cut so 2. Porter was wearing some bling which 3. brings to mind an old funny

Robert Kraft anecdote that his wife recently dished about: (emphasis added)

As Kraft tells it, she and her husband were in St. Petersburg with Sandy Weill, then the chairman of Citigroup Inc., their “good friend” the media mogul Rupert Murdoch, an oil executive, and a physician. That group, all except for Kraft, met at Konstantinovsky Palace with the Russian president, and when she next saw her husband in their hotel room, he confessed he had a problem. “They were getting up for formal pictures, and Sandy said to Robert, ‘Why don’t you show the president your ring?’ ” she says. “So Robert never wears the ring, [but] sometimes, in certain instances, he’ll have it in his pocket, he’ll take it out. Putin put it on his finger, and his first comment was ‘I could kill someone with this,’ which was a little bit of an unusual comment, and then they took pictures, and Putin put it back in his pocket and walked out.”

Clearly, Joey Porter is no Vladimir Putin...:lmao:

If this happened at a casino there must be video footage! Anyone seen anything? Good thing porter didnt have his dogs with him.

News Story

Levi had to be "treated" by medical personnel - wonder if Levi will indeed press charges for assault? That's a pretty serious charge of course.

Of course, there will be some pointing to the fact that yet another Bengal can't stay out of trouble.

I blame Mike Brown for drafting him. Should have never happened.

BTW, We play at Miami this year. Should be fun!

Hey did you guys see that it wasn't just Porter on the attack of Levi, but he had 6 other people in on the attack......what a coward........I'm so glad we didn't sign him like many of you wanted...I never wanted that all talk, overrated... loud mouth

It sounds like what happened to the poor guy at the Super Bowl a few years back only not with the same ending. I am sure Porter will be exhonorated just like Ray Lewis was.

I'm kinda disappointed Jones didn't tap into the Matrix and bust some woop-ass on Mr. Porter. I never realized though that Jones had his off-season home in Las Vegas. Ahh, to be an NFL player.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Oh, this is priceless! Even on the Dolphins, Peezy still kicks Bengal ass. :lmao:

And don't try to be all offended and think it's horrible what Joey did. You all know that if their roles had been reversed, and Jones had kicked Porter's ass, you'd have the exact same reaction as I'm having.

"They started talking sh-t, Joey Porter saying he'll always be a Steeler. He showed off the Super Bowl ring and Jones got up to him, and Joey Porter pretty much kicked his ass . . . . Jones never got a shot in."

Based on this, seems to me Levi was probably taunting Joey for getting cut by the Steelers. Joey responded by showing him his SB ring, Levi got pissed and wanted to fight, and Joey kicked his ass. Levi, who was unable to even land a punch, decided to press charges like a little bitch.

And those of you who are bringing up Porter's lack of sacks against Jones, what was the Bengals' record in games where Levi starts against Porter? 3-8. Guess Peezy got the last laugh.

And as for Levi's claims that he was robbed, why would Porter steal his jewlery? He has all the jewlery he needs on his finger. :sure:

This was just a B/S email sent to B/S PFT. It contradicts every other report that has been released on the incident.

That's irrelevant to the individual confrontation of two players. Levi made a fool of Porter on the field multiple times.

Record, shmecord. Porter had, what, .5 sacks in his last five games against Jones? That's pwned son... PWNED! :D

Levi should bring a civil suit against Porter for 64 million dollars, f**k that punk Porter. Isn't he the same guy who was too cool to take off his sun glasses when they met the President, he's an immature thug who has no business in the NFL, he's washed up.

When Goodell takes out the trash(Pacman) he needs to include Porter in the heap, he's a waste of a uniform. I bet you Porter is injured when we play the Dolphins.

1. You think Porter would fake an injury just to avoid playing the bengals! (To quote him: "I'm tired of kicking your ass! Y'all make me tired!" Yeah, definitely seems like he's afraid of the Bengals)

2. You are actually retarded or just blinded by our rivalry enough to think Porter is anywhere close to Pacman Jones. Pacman has had MULTIPLE run ins with the law. Porter has had 1. This one. And this was just a fight, as opposed to say, starting a brawl in a strip club and having one of your friends/bodyguards shoot somebody. It's so ridiculous how people try to lump Porter in with the "bad guys". He's not a cancer like TO, he's not a lazy selfish ass like Randy Moss, he's not a criminal like Chris Henry or a number of other guys on the Bengals. He has dogs that attacked a horse once. He's said some controversial things, some of which were in jest, some serious. And now he got in a fight. OOohhh, he's so terrible! It's like at the SB, when the media was desperate for Porter to say something and always went to talk to him expecting him to say something, because they thought he was like the typical "bad guy", and were dissapointed when he didn't say anything untill the Jerramy Stevens thing. As Michael Smith said yesterday on Sportscenter, if this was any other time in the NFL, this wouldn't even be a story. But with all the bad publicity from guys like Pacman, Henry, Odell, Deltha, Tank Johnson, ect., any minor blemish is blown up and portrayed to be another example of how NFL players are out of control.

... and folks have questioned that this guy should be banned to the smack forum. As an outsider, on a Bengals board, IMO it is your responsibility to go out of your way to treat 'non-smack' forum threads in such a way as to leave out anything related to smack ... or be pushed to smack forever. As for us insiders ... well, membership has its privileges. Conform or crawl away. I like the banter with you, but keep your 'bungle' talk for smack (and as I said, those guidelines apply only to 'outsiders' like yourself. :-) ).

I wouldn't exactly call it getting the last laugh. In fact I'd say Levi has done a fine job against Portolet and skunked him twice this year on a bum leg.

From the Enquirer:

"Of Porter's 60 career sacks, 4.5 have come in his 11 starts against Jones as the Bengals' starting left tackle. Seven times Jones blanked Porter....On Oct. 13, 2002, in what was Jones' second NFL start as a rookie, Porter had two sacks....Jones was limited to six games and five starts in 2006 because of right ankle and left knee injuries. He did start both games against the Steelers and did not allow a sack to Porter."

http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art...0314/1078/COL02

So basically after the first game, Porter has 2.5 sacks in 10 games vs. Jones. Who owns who?

Around here we have been squabbling lately over resigning guys like Kevin Kaesviharn and Tony Stewart yet the Steelers actually cut one of the so-called "premier" players in the league. They didn't even try to negotiate a new deal with him to make some cap space. What's that tell you folks? (Overrated)

He may think and say he'll always be a Steeler but obviously the feeling isn't mutual.

BTW...Peezy? Give me a break. :puke:

So what you're saying is I'm not allowed to challenge the opinions of bengals fans unless it's in the smack forum? Well, if we want to get technical about this, all the Bengals fans who insulted Porter on this thread should only be allowed to post such things in the smack forum. I'm not spamming your site with insults and trying to goad your members into arguements. I'm stating my opinion on the subject at hand and the posts of some of the members who have responded to the thread. What I'm saying does not need to be confined to the smack forum, or do you only allow differing opinions among members as long as they're all Bengals fans? This isn't smack, it's providing a different perspective to a subject that is obviously and understandably influenced by prejudices among Bengals fans (since Porter is a former Steeler who certainly made no effort to befriend the Bengals or their fans, you all of course have bad opinions of him). Perhaps I leaned a bit in the direction of smack, but I guess I just still haven't gotten used to the sensitivity of people on this site.

People aren't banned to the Smack Forum here because their opinion differs from the Bengals fan norm. They're banned to the Smack Forum because they annoy us with terms like "Bungles." Sure, we as mods are more lenient with the Bengals fans... it's a Bengals website after all.

If one of us were on a Steelers site squealing about "Stoolers" or "Chumpionships" or "Fluke" it would inspire the same irritation on your end. It's all stupid.

You've proven you're capable of handling yourself in a respectable manner, so nobody has seen fit to give you the troll tag. We just ask you keep it that way.

I still can't understand why people (Bengals fans included) would spend any time at all on a rival teams site. I check things out only to find out about an injury prior to a game but other than that I could care less about what they are saying or what they think.

Why do people feel the need to try to convince the opposition that their team/idea/position is better or correct on the opposition's board? You are wasting your time.

Yeah, I see your point. I guess I did say "bungles" a little too much. I will try to keep that just in the Smack forum. If that's the only problem, I'll go back and edit those posts.
