Geez calm down. I only said it to start a discussion. Do you really think I am heartless to think about the team more than someone's life? Take a pill. I hope he is okay, and it's sad that he keeps getting hurt. I am sorry I don't pray. You do all the praying you want if it makes you feel better billybroome.

I see your point CJ. I wasn't attacking you in the least. Your post here proves your humanity with me. I've taken my pill and feel much better now. I just hope Dennis will too, as I'm sure you do too. It's all good bro! :)

all wellness to Dennis but i think its safe to say his chances at having a great career are slimming down each hospital visit. We took a risk. the risk might not go good. Im thinking Charles Fisher here. hes not the starter so it doesnt push CB to first. Who knows he may recover and be great but i doubt it

prayers yall

isn't serious condition better than critical condition?

also, the brain aneurysm thing just doesn't seem right to me. most people that suffer those die instantly, right?

i may be making a medical moron of myself here. please feel free to correct me. just hoping for a bit of bright light from the few details that have been released. i do agree with what was said earlier, though...the longer we have to wait, the worse it seems it will be :(

Yo, Chad....We dont doubt your sincerity, but the way that whole thing came off didnt sound right

It was like....Aw man, Dennis is hurt...... who should we draft now?

you sounded like you were more concerned about who we should draft rather than if Dennis was ok. This dude has had unbelievable luck....

thats all that was....I agree with Billy and the rest of the guys..

The most important thing is that he's getting the best medical attention he needs. As for his career, That'll be something that he'll have to work to regain.

* Where or when did Dave Lapham say that he "heard" it was a brain anyurism..?? Because they usually do cause death,retardation,petit/grand mal seizures and the likes.

Also, I doubt that the team would release that information. And it may be too early to even know that an anyurism was the cause of the problems he now faces.

i don't post here too often, but i must say, a few things that have been said here today about weathersby makes me sick. please, fellas, don't lose sight of what's important: dennis' health. that's it.

i'm a bengal-backer from birth, and i understand that dennis may or may not play a major role in 2004, but for people on this board to speculate that we must now draft a cb because of what happened is, well, gross. disgusting, actually. how do you think dennis' mother feels right now? or the people close to him? this is his life that they are dealing with, pure and simple. i don't want to sound high-minded, but if you've ever lost a person close to you -- and i lost my dad just a few months ago -- then i'd think you'd understand that if dennis' mom viewed this post tonight she'd be doubly heartbroken. some on this post have been great; others need to reevaluate what's important.

okay, the emotional police are done speaking. have at me...

I hope and pray that everything turns out ok for Weathersby.

Tonight on the way home I was listening to some doctor call in show on AM radio and he was talking about aneurysms. He said it depends on the size of the aneurysm as to how serious it is. And that there isn't a lot of problems unless it ruptures. If it's not ruptured it can be treated most of the time.

Here's a site that I found on brain aneurysms.
