BENGALTHEM
Kevin Kaesviharn (the utility man): 11 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 INT ..........wow!KK is easily one of my favorite players on the team. A true football player. Seems to always be in the right position to make a play. I need an authentic orange Kaesviharn jersey. From DII South Dakota, to the AFL, to the XFL, and now 6 years as a Bengal. The man has my utmost respect. I remember at one point people around here wanted to see him cut. Glad that never happened. Seems like every time there's an injury in the 2ndry KK adequately fills the hole. So here's to KK Give it up for the CLEAN UP MAN!
HoosierCat
K2 is definitely having a good year. 4 picks and 2 sacks so far this season, and both those are already career bests. On pace for 78 tackles which would be a career second-best, and that's with him missing 2 games so far.
semiotter
3 end zone INTs this year and he comes back this week and we end the losing streak!!!"KK" IS DA MAN....and he is Army Bengals fav.....

Kazkal
KK is a very good backup even with not being fulltime starter hes making alot of plays.
marylandbengal
Did anyone notice how much further south our pass defense went when Keanu went down against Atlanta? And lo and behold, he comes back and has an immediate impact. I'm not ready to send him to the pro bowl, but something can obviously be said for KKs experience and knack for being in the right place at the right time, and doing what the hell he's told. Example, on that pick, he lined up almost like a linebacker, and then took off towards the end zone at the snap. Perfectly disguised, Brees never saw him. (That was Bresnahan's scheme, by the by; when the defense stinks, its not all chuck, you still need smart players.)
Stripes
Best backup safety on the team, and that's good enough for me.
knomage
The design of the play is simple. The qb watches the closest zone defender to the intended receiver,as soon as the defender moves toward the receiver to coverthe receiver curls around the defender and into the open areathe qb throws the ball to the spot as soon as he sees a defender break toward the receiverand the defender cant reverse his momentum in time to stop the playWhat KK has done 3 times is to stand in line with another defenderbehind him that breaks on the receiver as KK breaks toward the path of the ball a damn clever scheme that has fooled smart qb's and Bena move we will probably see again
agreen_112
If KK had a little bit more athletic ability he would be just as good as John Lynch! Under no other coach than Marvin Lewis would Keas be the player he is today. Marv formed KK into the player that he is, a good player in the NFL. I hope we keep him for his whole career! KK is a solid backup and probably my favorite player due to his history.
jditty47
hes just a liability on run plays. great for pass coverage though.
HoTbOy
I'm sorry guys, and I don't mean to rain on any ones parade but he still sucks to ME...yeah he is good in coverage when he has an endline behind him 10 yards away, but to cover that other 90 yards he gets toasted or ran the f**k over...I like all the endzone int's don't get me wrong, but meet someone in the hole 1 time in your life and not trying to drag them down once you let them run past you... BENGALTHEM
I hear what your saying but now.......... not to many backups are going to stick J. Lewis or Bettis in the hole. That being said, KK is a nice luxury for the Bengals. He can play either safety position or corner position, and nickel if necessary as well as special teams. There's is not that much of a drop off when KK is in the game. When M. Williams and Kim Herring went down, it was Ohalate that sucked it up for the Bengals, not KK. He's something of a tweener -- not physical enough to play safety, not fast enough to play corner. As for the comment that only Ohhowican'ttackle stunk it up at safety last year, I'll respectfully disagree. KK was OK when Madieu was back there with him, but was exposed with his fellow backup out there.
Ox
KK is def one of my all time favorite Bengals, if not for his talent, but his heart. The guy proves his worth game in and game out. We're completely out of the playoff picture if not for the guy.
bengalboomer7
As a full time backup/part time starter I don't think anyone can complain too much about KK. But when he's starting, I'm nervous about our last line of defense.
marylandbengal
Bengalthem has it right, most of your backups are going to stick it to the big guys on a regular basis. But Keanu as the proverbial Sixth Man has proven his worth. But this goes back to why our defense has had so many problems this year, and that reason is injuries. I mean, we lost our two-thirds of our starting linebackers for the whole season and probably forever, and Simmons for a good portion of the season. two-thirds of the replacements hadn't played an NFL snap before this year. No matter how good your coaches are, or how physically talented guys like Brooks or jeanty are, there is going to be a dropoff. This is probably where most pundits had the Bengals being without the injuries, so the fact that we are still in it with all the adversity is pretty darn good if you ask me.I meant to say, Bengalthem has it right that most backups AREN"T going to stick it to the big guys on a regular basis. HoosierCat
And another big pick by K2 today. That's 5, count 'em, 5 picks this year; his previous high was 3.

dave
I'm a big Kaes fan. Whenever he plays well, I think of the post-game radio show at the end of his first season. I think it was Lance McAllister (but it could've been Gamble or Skinner, it's hard to keep the tools apart) who went off on him, basically saying, "he's a nice guy, nice story, but look, he won't be here next year, he's not an NFL quality player." Talk about being wrong.
Kazkal
Damn hes leading the nfl in INT's with troy out wonder if he'll have chance at PB as a SS but I think listyed as FS ....kinda retarded only 1 safety spot per postionPS,not even sure where he lines up when dexter is out i just know hes on the field lol
