Stripes
I am very hard to impress in the movie department... I usually think everything sucks. However, Snakes on a Plane was beyond amazing. I also saw Pulp Fiction for the first time a few months back, and it instantly vaulted to the top of my charts. I can't believe I hadn't seen that sooner.

He's one of my favorite directors, and one sick son of a b***h!I recently saw "The 40 Year Old Virgin" and laughed my a$$ off! Definitely not for youngsters though. Let them see "Cars" with you. Larry The Cable Guy was great doing the voice of "Mater."
BlainThePain
Agreed on "40 Year Old Virgin" being a good movie full of laughs. It's all raunchy humor, though. Lucky Number Sleven is a good movie that recently came out on DVD. Sleven is a pretty violent movie with some gore, mostly realistic looking action scenes, and lots of plot twists. I also recently saw the uncut version of "Ken Park" which is the most disturbing film I have ever seen (suicide, murder, incest, rape, auto-erotic asphyxiation). It's a couple of years old and I think it still hasn't been released on DVD in the U.S. (I watched it on someone's computer). It was made in America and stars americans, but the movie is so messed up they can't get a company to put it out on DVD in the US.Harsh Times comes out in the theaters tommorow and it looks pretty killer, but I haven't seen it. Here is the summary from imdb.com: HARSH TIMES stars Bale as an ex-Army Ranger who finds himself slipping back into his old life of petty crime after a job offer from the LAPD evaporates. Freddy Rodriguez (SIX FEET UNDER) plays his best friend and Eva Longoria (DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES) plays Rodriguez's girlfriend. It marks the film directing debut for Ayer who has written such box office hits as TRAINING DAY, U-571 and THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS.
Whur CHad At?
Go see the Prestige!!! The movie is about two magicians trying to out dual each other. It is a really really good movie, better than it sounds. Christian Bale is the s**t in this movie, also with strong performances from Hugh Jackman, Michael Caine, David Bowe, and Scarlett Johansen(YES SHE IS FRIGGEN HOT!) Go see it trust me, it will really suprise you. And remeber if you do see it...remember to watch closely...

BengalszoneBilly
Here's a seemingly funny movie I want to see called Let's Go To Prison. I just wonder how many Bengals players are going to get cameo appearances in it!
bengalboomer7
I hated that Slevin movie. I watch free movies on satellite so I'm always a little behind. Watched that video game horro movie last night, Stay Alive. OK, but kinda lame. For some time now I've been head over heels in love with Scareltt Johansen And I'm patiently waiting on a mivie review of Borat

Everytime she's in anything my wife let's me know my girlfriend is on TV or in a new movie, etc. I watched Lucky Number Slevin last night, and found it pretty enjoyable. Great cast, solid acting, and a pretty good movie overall. I watched the Devil and Daniel Johnston, which was very interesting. Saw The Puffy Chair last week, and thought it was very cool. It's an indy flick if you're into that sort of thing.

I'm all into the movies with academy expectations. I think I've narrowed it down to either "Babel" or "The Prestige" for this weekend. I have luckey number slevin, but haven't watched it yet. WhoDey42
I just saw Borat the other night. It was pretty hilarious. It's not for everyone though. A lot of people are saying that its racist at some parts (but you have to remember Sacha Baron Cohen is Jewish himself) But I definitely was laughing out loud during the whole movie. Some parts are close to going too far. Theres one naked wrestling scene that goes on a bit too long, and there are no words to explain it, you just have to watch it. A lot of the funniest lines don't even come from Borat, they are from the real people that think Borat is actually a foreign reporter. I also saw Saw 3 the other night. It was another good movie. I'd say it was the best one of the three.

HoosierCat
The wife had rented a bunch of dvds for the kid this weekend, one of which was a movie I'd actually been mildly interested in seeing a while back, Monster House.Turned out to be a really bizarre 'toon. Worth a view.

Whur CHad At?
Borat see it. WARNING: It is extremely anti-semtic. But one thing that really sticks out to me in Borat is that it exposes some of out petty racistness in this country.
Scottishbengal
I don't watch movies as a rule - the ubiquitous romance angle that seems to HAVE to be included in 99% of films drives me potty and has turned me away from seeing movies at the cinema/TV. Hollywood film directors - please note you've alienated the movie going public by 1 due to your insistence on sticking to the SAME GODDAM FILM FORMULA. Use some imagination for christsakes!!!!! Will the movie industry go bust due to my lack of patronage? No. But I do feel a bit better after that short rant.

HairOnFire
The last good movie I've seen recently was Pretty Coeds #47. It's not like I'm totally into porn or anything, but I'll watch anything that has a Herman Beeftink soundtrack.**There is a 93% probability that this joke will be unappreciated.
