agreen_112
Dexter Jackson had a huge game, even though we lost the game. On Baltimore's last couple of posessions he really stood out and made some really big plays. I like J. Joseph in the nickle full time and getting work at corner when there is only a 2 reciever set. The nickle is a really important position and JJ is the best for that job. Joseph and Jackson along with Williams and O'neal, Justin Smith and Geathers, Brooks and Odell can really be a great defense in another year or two. PhunkE1
Any team that depends on a 29 year old FA SS to be their defensive playmaker is in allot of trouble.
walshfan
is that the same Jackson that let a potential INTgo thru his hands? The same guy thats been injured most of the season....If this is a difference maker we are in trouble
ShulaSteakhouse
I'm not willing to wait "another year or two" for "them to get better." We've heard that every week for the last 3+ years from Marvin.Enough - get better NOW. No more excuses.
volcom69
This def does not have a leader at all i dont see anyone on this team getting in anyones face saying Lets go we are better then this or somthing, they all just sit there with there heads down, someone needs to step up and do somthing. Look at the def playmakers around the league and what they do to pump there D up who does that for our team no one, so until they bring someone in on def that is a playmaker and will tell the d what they are doing wrong and right this D will never live up to any potiential. You don't just wave a magic wand in the locker room and every player becomes a stud. We're building up towards the SB. It may take another 2-3 years before we get that chance. I mean c'mon dog, look at how long it took Pittsburgh to finally get there, look at Indy and Seattle. We will first have to get comfortable in the playoffs before we'll win it all. You don't make it to the playoffs for the 1st time in over 10 years then come back and win a SB the very next year, it's almost impossible unless you've got Bellichek. I bet every coach in the league wished they could follow your philosophy of "get better now, no more excuses", it doesn't work that way man.... Get use to it b/c that's just the way it is in the NFL, learn the game. We're going to continue to build and build and learn and keep learning until it's our time, you have to stay patient in this game. Don't worry Marv will get us our chance... He's already turned this ship around and has made it to the playoffs.

They got better as the season went on last year and now their O has bridged the gap in talent between their D. Look at what STL was able to do in one year back in 99. Look at what the Panthers were able to do a couple years back. DJackson has taken the leadership role as far as being vocal on the field, but we need someone to step up and lead by example on the field. I would have said Odell was that player, but now he'll be lucky to play another down for this team.

Every team you mentioned except for STL didn't win a SB and they won't. It doesn't work like that. STL was a great team, phenomenal. This is Indy's year to win it all not ours... Bgal
Wow- how is it possible for every team to win a superbowl every 2 years? That's awesome!!
redsbengalsbucks
What I saw this week was a letdown by the Offense and ST's, the defense did it's joband kept the game close after the ST's and offense spotted the Ravens a 14 point lead.Is giving up 12 points really that bad? One that kept the ball in their hands and then let their defense shut down our offense..Thats whats bad.. Can you say 6 for15 first downs by the Ravens and 1-10 by the Bengals.I think the Ravnes played a game to their liking...

Problem wasn't the D giving up yardage, it was the offense not getting any.
Stripes
I blame STs and the offense for ruining the game in the first five minutes.Beyond that, I thought the team played well enough to win for the rest of the game (though some more 3rd down conversions would have been nice). Kazkal
I love dexter and I'm glad we signed him but it still stings not drafting ko and him playing like a stud for the bills.
