ShulaSteakhouse Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 What would be really impressive is seeing the D not give up points here before the half - per the norm. Quote
CBin2k7 Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 The formula shall be run Rudi, pound them...Go over the top. Score. Quote
schweinhart Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 All hail Marvin. A big giant set to go for it 4th and 1 with a straight up your gut, smashmouth MFer like Rudi Johnson to get the job done. Looks like Carson has maybe found some groove. Ratbirds 17Bengals 7Now all they got to do is hold til the half and come out in the 2nd half and continue their domination from scrimmage. It's been there all game. Quote
alleycat Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 I think the O line was so pissed about not running last week that as a matter of pride they have to gain this week. Either way, we're getting productiivity from the run and it is finally taking the heat off of Carson. Let's not abandon it in the second half. These guys have no O. If we're patient and stick to our guns, we have a chance. Quote
rwalling Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 In other news of the weird, the Rangers are beating the Nationals 6-5?!and the Dolphins up on the Bears 14-3?! Who ever heard of a fish beating a bear? Quote
alleycat Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 I think one of the things that will be really missed without Odell was his reckless speed - it led to the turnovers (tips etc) that we don't seem to be getting this year. Quote
CBin2k7 Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Has anyone seen Deltha O'Neal this season? I sure haven't Quote
alleycat Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 That last play was fine with me. I don't care about stats. We can see that they've stuffed the run. I just want the win.Now let's see how the Bengals respond to our other big weakness this year: halftime adjustments. Thank god this against Baltimore, and they are about as basic as it gets. Quote
Ox Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Time for the to get some f*cking attitude. Quote

Spor_tees Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Bengals need to get Buster Davis from Florida State this year...that guy is fast as hell...and could cover some TE's Quote
rwalling Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Hope somebody's noticing what a tight end can do in an offense. Quote

Kazkal Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 What you guys think of keith rivers lol.Back on the game good job D holding em to 3 atleast. Quote
Spor_tees Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 You mean how a TE can be a great check down for a QB who is under pressure and getting blitzed like Carson has been this year? No way we don't need a good TE with this Offense! Maybe people will listen since Carson isn't always going to get the protection of being sacked the least amount of times in the NFL. You have to prepare for the worst and hope for the best! Quote
