Stillers vs. Bolts

Lol. This is some good stuff right here. Please please let AG catch the sealing TD here, for my fantasy league of course. Not that I'd want to see Pitt get the score ran up on them or anything....

NICE! Stoolers 1-3. :lmao:

Now if only the Broncos can reveal the Ravens true colors...i.e. NOT a truly elite team. They're not bad...and their D is damn good, but they don't deserve their accolades to date. But hey...if they can prove me wrong...

Looking forward to the Bengals being back atop the AFC North. :bengal:

Man Big Ben looked horrible, is he a one season wonder? If things keep going the way they are over there in Pitt, I smell a QB contraversy. Another week or two of Big Ben losing the games for them, their fans will be calling for Batch to came back in. I can't wait!

How can he be a 1 season wonder if he's in his 3rd season and his previous TWO were good?

No, this just isn't Ben. He's not playing like Ben Roethlisberger. I don't know what the problem is, but they better figure it out soon. If he sucks again next week, I want Batch in by the 2nd half. At least untill they figure out what the hell is wrong with Ben. Also, why is he throwing 30+ times a game? If he's sucking, you should try to LIMIT his involvement, not INCREASE it. There is no reason why Parker should only get 14 carries in that game, especially considering we were winning at half time. I'm starting to wonder if Cowher is subconsiously thinking too much about retirement.

That said, we should win next week, if Green still isn't back and Johnson is hurt. And winning cures all. I think if Ben can go out and play well against the Chiefs, and we get a win, it could be the spark of a nice winning streak that we desperately need. I still only see 3 potential losses, the problem is we can only afford 2, so we better get back to playing Steelers football.

That's great, I'm glad to hear that the Steeler fans are already bailing on their QB. Nothing is worse than that, trust me. If they pull Ben out, you'll be lucky to beat the browns in the Div. I honestly think Ben is just starting to show his true colors. What kind of throw was that 2nd INT anyway? LMAO. That had to be one of the worst throws of his career.... NO I take that back, the worst one was a week or two back when he tried to bomb it out and gave it all he and he fell down, LOL. Your man has a Super Man chin with a paper arm...

No way. Bill is IMHO a great coach, and not apt to be doing any such thing. The problem with the Steelers, (again IMHO) is Ben throwing interceptions. Long may that continue!

I'm not saying he's giving up or anything, it's just that he doesn't seem to have his usual fire. Everything he says is "well, we did some good things, we just didn't win. Don't worry, it will fix itself." And the whole team looks flat. One of Cowher's best abillities is his ability to motivate the team, and the team does not look very motivated right now. I'm wondering if subconsciously he knows he's going to retire soon, and he just doesn't have that fire to win as much as he used to.

Again, I don't know. There just seems to be something very different about this team that just isn't normal for the Steelers.

And agreen, I'm not bailing on Ben, I'm saying that if he's not capable of playing at a normal level, put Batch in there untill Ben is ready. We're at the point where we can no longer afford to lose in order to nurse a struggling QB.

And again, how is this Ben's "true colors"? So, what, 2 seasons, 22-4, 5-1, high QB ratings don't matter because NOW he's struggling in 3 games? Like I've said before, 1st round picks don't have great rookie seasons, win the Super Bowl in their 2nd season, and then suddenly realize they're supposed to be a bust and they better start acting like it.

Perhaps Bill should spit on someone. After all, it's what he does best. To be fair I'm sure he thinks of it as a a motivational spitting.

"Men, you can't expect to be great unless you expectorate to be great." (Splattt)

The Steelers are done. They simply aren't the same sort of team that can throw the ball the fewest times in the NFL each of the last two seasons, and each hilarious moment they've have to count on Big Ben throwing the ball he quickly gets exposed as an empty nut sack.

BTW, my favorite play last night was the one with Ben being mauled, but he still throws the ball even though he's flying backward and can't see anything but sky. Then again, why wouldn't he throw that ball? Ben seems be the last one to realize that he's no longer the luckiest shmuck on the planet. He was probably shocked that some Steeler player didn't outleap a defender for the moonball, and then score a glorious TD.

Well on that play, he had Cedrick Wilson wide open, he just waited too long, and then when he was getting hit, suddenly decided he better not let that opportunity go to waste, so he threw it anyway, and the result was a pick. What a surprise. But of course his post game comments were, yet again, "we're doing some good things. We're close. Don't worry, we'll get it to work soon." Nice denial there, Ben (or whoever it is that has abducted Ben and put on his jersey) Untill Ben starts playing like Ben, and the Steelers start playing like the Steelers, there won't be alot of happy people here in Pittsburgh. Although I guess that's kind of redundant to say "Untill a great player starts playing great, and a great team starts playing like a great team, they won't win." But the comment still stands.

I love the denial on how bad that throw really was, kinda makes you believe that it wasn't the worst throw I've seen this season. The sooner you realize that Ben isn't going to start playing like the Ben you've seen in the past two seasons the easier the let down will be. Ben is garbage! He's got a paper arm and mush for brains. "Throw a twick play in der' and I'll thow it to da furdest guy i can." Deat-da-de RETARDED!
