ArmyBengal
I've never seen a broadcast make a game about one player before. They are going so far as to use the tele-prompter to circle and point to Owens with his name before the plays !!! So far, he hasn't done anything worth while and on the last series, Bledsoe underthrew Owens towards the endzone, resulting in an INT and Owens lost his freakin mind !!! He was going crazy on the sidelines acting like the same assclown we've always seen !!! I call BULLSH*T on the media for making this game about Owens, if not for the T.O. crap, this is a good game...WHODEY !!!

skyline
TO was a non factor. Maybe that will shut the talking heads up for a minute. You're kidding, right? Now they're going go on and on about WHY he was a non-factor.Oh, and I hope nobody is sick of hearing about whether or not Parcells should bench Bledsoe. I smell a press conference standoff between Tuna and the Dallas media.
ArmyBengal
Can't wait to see post game interview with him... Should be interesting !!! Oh yeah, Bledsoe f*cking sucks !!!WHODEY !!!
Ox
Guess it ws wishful thinking. I just can't see how this assh*le is such a big story??
ShulaSteakhouse
The paparazzi-like obsession the media has with him is obviously wearing thin on everyone - McNabb shunned any mention of him post-game very well. I don't find the guy interesting in the least.Wish it would stop, it's embarrassing.
Stripes
Agreed. Everytime I see his face, I change the channel. Who cares? Really?Hell, even the pundits make fun of themselves on television when they bring him into a conversation... but they keep on doing it. agreen_112
It wasn't that T.O. was a non-factor, the problem was the O-line and Bledsoe being a complete scrub. With a guy like T.O. you have to do a better job at getting him the ball. I would trade CJ any day for T.O., becuase with Palmer T.O. would be one of the best to ever play the game. T.o.'s was the reason Dallas was able to get back into that game.
TJJackson
I would trade CJ any day for T.O.I hate Mike Brown about as much as anyone could, and have long felt anyone, *any* random person, could do a better job as GM than him.I now have to officialy make a slight alteration to my stance, as follows: Anyone except agreen. Until then STFU.Speaking of assclowns...Seriously. Were you not paying attention when the Bengals went from being the defending divison champs and up-and-coming league powerhouse to being a laughing stock of off-field distractions? The conventional wisdom is that T.O.'s inimitable skills are not worth the baggage that comes with them. You and Jerry Jones are certainly welcome to your differing opinion. But to flame on somebody who likes his football team to, you know, just play football...you need to switch your perscription to whatever Spain is smoking.Anyway, I'm glad this was our bye week. Hopefully Chad was watching the game and saw just how foolish a pouting prima donna can look on national TV. One of the benefits of being a small market team, I suppose, that Chad wasn't in the spotlight when we were losing more games than we were winning. Things would've been ugly. BlainThePain
Agreen did you watch the game? Owens had like 9 drops. There were a couple passes in that game that were right to him, but he started worrying about getting hit instead of worrying about the ball and dropped it. This guy has also destroyed the team chemistry on the 49ers and Eagles. It's only a matter of time before it happens in Dallas and if he came to Cinci he would tear our team apart, too. Why would you take a premier WR that has great chemistry with Palmer, is a team player, is one of the fastest players in the league, has some of the best hands and body control in the league and trade him for somebody that is older and slower, rips on every coach and QB he has ever had, drops a bunch of passes, and clams up when he is about to get hit. I agree with TJ, you saying you would trade CJ for TO is the single dumbest thing a Bengals fan has ever said.
ArmyBengal
T.O. is a piece sh*t person, a good player, and not anyone I would EVER want to see in stripes...Oh yeah, I would rather have Meshawn Johnson, than T.O. in stripes...WHODEY !!! Until then STFU. T.O. with a quarterback like Manning or Palmer, WOW!So you condone the actions by T.O. and destroying a team. He has already destroyed two teams seasons in the past and is working on a third. The talent is there, granted. But it is worth tearing a team apart that has the chemistry and potential that the Bengals have. I would bet that in a few weeks, Tuna will suspend and then deactivate T.O. because of his actions. And then no team will take a chance on him because of his arrogance and divisiveness. Not even Al Davis, the worst owner in the NFL. The fortunate thing is Marvin Lewis is making the decisions and not someone blinded by numbers. As far as the media focusing on T.O. during the game. Look at who did the broadcast. FOX, the biggest sensationalistic network on TV. They knew that people would watch the game just to see what T.O. would do and they made sure that the focus was on T.O. and sensationalize everything he did. Did anyone happen to notice if there was a football game played?
Edogger
Screw T.O....he will never be great as long as he throws temper tantrums like a five...no wait, two year old. I admit he had a chance to be great a couple times but threw it all away when he would start opening his mouth. And once he started that, the media smelled it like blood in the water and swarmed around him. Hence, destroying two franchises. He just needs to go away! Far, far away from the sport. He doesn't realize what this sport has done for him...and what greatness he could have acheived! I mean he was the reason the 49'ers didn't resign J. Rice. To give him a chance, they knew he could do it and what does he do...stabs them in the back and throw the QB under the bus. Nice job T.O. Way to be a team player! agreen_112
Your saying that you would've kept old Jerry Rice over the young phenom TO. It was time for Jerry to retire dude. He had Steve Young at first, then scrubby boo boo Garcia. He did some damage to Philly, I'll admit but it was partially Donovan's fault too. T.O. is passionate and mostly misunderstood. He never tries to dis his QB it's all about motivation, he wants to win. I would love to have a guy with that much passion. Your right though guys he probably will destroy Dallas, they have a QB with a paper arm...

Your right though guys he probably will destroy Dallas, they have a QB with a paper arm...Granted, Jerry Rice needed to retire. However, he did have a good year with Oakland the following season and helped them get to the Super Bowl against Tampa Bay. Then he started to fall off of his game and realized he needed to retire. But when T.O. first arrived at San Fran, he was considered quite and rather shy by his teammates. Then after his rookie season, he suddenly become the selfish baby he is considered today. He started with your scrubby boo boo 2 time Pro Bowler Jeff Garcia by indirectly calling him gay. And the damage he created in Philly was all his. None of it was Donovan's as you allude to. T.O. publicly called Donovan weak and soft and the reason the Eagles lost the Super Bowl. If you remember, after the Super Bowl, T.O. wanted a new contract, but was told "no deal" by the Eagles. That is when he started dissing Donovan, Andy Reid, the owner, everyone in the organization but the cheerleaders. And we all know what he did after that so I will not rehash it. You say he is misunderstood. All he wanted was more money and he didn't care who he offended to get it. No misunderstanding thereT.O. maybe passionate about the game but he is not misunderstood. Everything he does is all about T.O. and nothing else matters to him. One again, no misunderstanding there.T.O. is his own worst enemy and he is to arrogant to recognize it. Until he see's this, he will only destroy the Cowboy's and any other team he plays for. After he is suspended and then ultimately released by the Cowboys, then he will wonder why no one wants him to play for them, if he is even picked up again. Then maybe he might realize he is the not only his worst enemy, but also the worst teammate the NFL has ever seen. No misunderstand there. agreen_112
It's all about winning with T.O. When the QB is playing like a scrub, he's gonna let the world know. If TO had Palmer or Manning or Brady it would be a whole different picture. Donnovan doesn't have what it takes to win the SB. If Bledsoe plays the way he did last week again this week I bet your ass TO's gonna call him out, that's TO he's outspoken and a leader, nothing wrong with that. Nothing at all wrong with that at ALL!keep talking and all your gonna see is stars! jk..

Your right though guys he probably will destroy Dallas, they have a QB with a paper arm...I never said I would have kept an old Rice, what I meant was the 49'ers realized his potential and took a risk. The thing about T.O. is he will throw anyone necessary under the bus to "motivate" himself, team, or even the media. That is the wrong way to go about it. The last person you want upset at you is 1. Head Coach, 2. Offensive Coordinator, and 3. Starting QB...T.O. managed to P.O. all the above in Philly. I mean he was all about himself. He wanted what he was do before he even did it...I hope some day he realizes that if he would have shut up and put up numbers...he could have had so much more and be very highly respected as well. And what do you think was partially McNabb's fault? I mean the guy tried...be friends with T.O., but he got thrown under the bus too. It was a lose/lose situation after the first year in Philly.T.O. is never happy with what he has...the grass is always greener on another field until he lights it on fire and single handedly blows up the team... agreen_112
This is what T.O. had to say to the media yesterday:"I do question why I am here," Owens said. "That's not to create a story, but it's just like, I want to win. I came here to help this team win. I haven't even gotten started yet. Honestly guys, I know with the years I've had in the league and the teams I've played on, I know I'm very used to being more involved in the offense ... [with those teams] making more of a conscious effort with my talent to make some plays. So far [with the Cowboys], that hasn't happened." Some people could look at this and say man what an aregant a-hole. I actually think it's true.
