Congrats guys! I only hope to get somewhat close to those numbers!

It makes me feel good that I'm not the only "jabber-jaws" around here! BTW, I think it's true what Army said. It helps your ability to post here when you don't have a bothersome thing like a life constantly getting in the way of what's REALLY important to us...like talking about the Bengals! :bengal:

those are huge numbers, how long have they been members?

Since a time long, long ago, in a land very far away... :starwars:

Damn...'03 DOES seem like an eternity ago! Marvin Lewis and Carson Plamer were both brand new names, losing was commonplace, and a runningback named Corey Dillon ruled the backfield. That is until one day his uniform became so darn uncomfortable, he up and threw it into the stands! Ahhh..good times for sure!

The sad truth.

(steps up onto podium)

Thank you, thank you everyone. Thank you. (applause continues) Thanks. Thank you. You're too kind. Thank you. Thanks again. Thanks.

When I came to BengalsZone, I was looking to hone my writing skills for a future of editorial and opinion columns. I was the one that suggested years ago to Lance McAlister and his boss that a blog would better utilize their skills to communicate thought, provoke reaction and to present clear opinion to a community in love with their professional teams. However, it was my intention to run it. I was thinking of a Homer Blog, but as you see, it took on a life of its own -- whether or not I was an influence is highly debatable.

At that moment, I came to the understanding, in order to present an opinion; I needed to provide a background of credibility, quality opinion and thought provoking reaction. It was then I applied to write. Without hesitation, B24, welcome me like a fan and friend.

It was then it evolved. Friends that have long gone and friends that have remained through the years have established a foundation of great conversation -- not always just about the Bengals.

And even though the road has taken me elsewhere and new writers have come along giving BengalsZone the quality content and opinions, I remain here, with you guys, my boys.

And Billy, before your "vacation" you were crushing me on posts. So I suspect you'll again be the post-master. We wouldn't have it any other way.

In all seriousness, it's not that hard to have that many posts when you make as many irrelevent posts as I have. I think maybe 10 posts have something to do with the Bengals. :D

...and then kirk met me and the current events board has never been the same again. :lmao:

Jeez how did I miss this thread?

:wine::wine::wine:

Oh...yeah...right...

Let me just say that, no, I do not have a life. But I think everyone figured that out already, eh? :bag:

Anyhow, bottom line is, the zone rules. Glad to be a part of it. :jump:

Kirk has slowed due to the work on his own site, (a link to which is in my sig) but HoosierCat has really kicked it into high gear. Kudo's to both! :sure:
