membengal
Only Chatman out. Housh, Adams, O'Neal, Levi all on the list but on as "probable", which is great news, obviously.Pollack not even on the injury list.Source: www.bengals.com
Stripes
Awesome. Good to see them all where they should be going into two division games.

membengal
Anyway (and, good quick work mods), back on topic, the team's health is ideal, and this will be a good tune-up for what is to come the following week. Should be intense hitting, and the team is ready to give and take it. Also, offense will be at near 100% for first time, so that will be fun too. BengalByTheBay
I have a feeling we'll continue to see big Sam on the Wednesday report every week for a while. Here's hoping that TJ is back and close to 100% for the Clowns.
schweinhart
Great health is a great thing. But there's so much depth on this team now that there's less concern about a reserve stepping up during the course of a game if need be and performing well enough to not jeopardize the Bengals chances of winning a game. membengal
No doubt, but I am looking forward to seeing the offense intact for the first time, and a hopefully healthy Pollack adding even more to the pass rush... Kazkal
Also so much for pollack being injury prone ,if he was 2nd coming of chris perry he'd atleast be questionable this week.
slf
Agreed our second team is one of the best we have seen. But listen to Marvin, listen to the players - they all focus on continuity and playing together as a unit. The more your first group plays together, the better they will perform. Glad to see all the starters on the field.
derekshank
So... here's my question. With Housh back in the mix... does Washington go back to being inactive?
agreen_112
So... here's my question. With Housh back in the mix... does Washington go back to being inactive? He should be #4 and see some playing time I'd imagine. He's great in the redzone with the 4 or 5 wr sets. We're so deep at WR it's ridiculous.

If we keep KW active, it means we're going to have one more active WR than we did last week. I just doubt we're going to sit a valuable Special Teamer for the purposes of a 4th WR, when Tab Perry is more than capable for the role. I would have to agree that we're probably back to last season in this regard. If Henry plays then KWash sits.
TippCityRick
I agree. Hard to dress 5 receivers even if Perry is bringing you big things on ST.
HairOnFire
So... here's my question. With Housh back in the mix... does Washington go back to being inactive? Probably, but Washington may have earned a role with the team by throwing critical blocks during both Bengal rushing TD's against the Chiefs, including one deep in the backfield on Rudi's 22-yard scamper. Without Washington's block on that play it's likely that Rudi gets stuffed behind the LOS by the OLB. In addition, as I noted during preseason action, Washington has made a habit of throwing nice blocks against MLB, slipping inside against the flow of action. Both players, Tab Perry and K-Dub, are doing a great job of filling the psuedo TE/H-Back role.
HoosierCat
O'Neal practiced today, per bengals.com. Housh and Sam still didn't, tho.
ShulaSteakhouse
I think TJ and Pollack are the two most important players to get back healthy, if that isn't obvious. They really do need TJ though - missed him last week in the passing game quite a bit. He's the guy who frees up Henry and Chad more than anyone else.
HoosierCat
Rucker and Nicholson are both iffy now for the bengals. On the cleveland side, DE Nick Eason is out, CB McCutcheon was downgraded to doubtful, and S Brian Russel, currently listed as questionable, will be a game-time decision, Crennel said.Jurivicius is still out this week but word is his injry wasn't as bad as originally thought and he may return sooner. derekshank
Housh might sit again. Bengals.com mentions the thought of sitting him to prepare for Pittsburgh... and the same goes for Levi. Whitworth should be able to hold down the fort against the Browns. You never want to give up a necessary win in favor of one next week... and with a tough schedule, that makes games against the Browns that much more necessary. But I also think it's pretty evident we can beat the Browns without Housh and Levi. The Steelers appear to be pushing Ben to play against Jacksonville. The Jags have a beat-up D-Line... so they might be doing it to get him some confidence before a game they view as a must-win against Cincy. We should probably have the same mindset, even if it means a different strategy. Housh is usually the guy who eats up yards against the Steelers Defense. Whatever it takes to make sure he's ready in week 3, that's what we need to do.(P.S. If the Steeles beat Jacksonvile on Monday night... that puts us behind the 8-ball to beat Indy later this season... or else makes a win in week 3 @Pittsburgh that much more important).
