mgilgris Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 Check CNN for the link to the ranking of the best Quarterback/Receiver in the NFL. Not sure if this should be correct yet.... but glad to see it regardless. Steve smith Jake Delhome were number two ahead of Manning and Harrison. I guess people are just tired of writing about that potent duo.WHO DEY Quote

Stripes Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 McNair/Mason? Bledsoe/Glenn? Nice to see stripes at the top of the list... though I think Manning/Harrison might still be deserving. Quote
Kazkal Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 mybe they take age in to acount so how much longer theyll be togather that or just marvins in his later years Quote
derekshank Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 mybe they take age in to acount so how much longer theyll be togather that or just marvins in his later yearsThey are just ranking them at this snap-shot in time... not based on career stats. You can't compare Palmer and Johnson to Montana and Rice yet... it's an uneven battle because of the number of years they had to compile stats. However, you can compare Palmer and Johnson to Manning and Harrison at this particular moment in time, and believe that Palmer and Johnson are better, if for no other reason than the fact that Peyton likes to throw to Reggie Wayne just as much if not more than Harrison these days. junglelove85 Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 Really great picture of Chad and Carson. The Glenn/Bledsoe tandem statistically is only second to Marvin and Peyton, surprisingly. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 they can be ranked 10th for all I care, if they help win a SB of course. Quote

You just can't deny it... Maybe after this year it will be a closer race, but at "this point in time" I can't see it any other way...WHODEY !!! Quote
chrishcovga Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 I'll have to gladly disagree here.Manning to Harrison is # 1.Chad and Carson are rising up the charts.. but really too many great combinations for SI to even do this type of article. Quote
