HairOnFire
This is from a guy who only "read" the game, but Henry didn't dress. Brooks played late, but didn't get nearly as many snaps as the week prior.

HairOnFire
Too many penalties tonight though.Well, they played pretty clean vs. DC so I'll chalk it up to the law of averages, for now. You're right, but my comment was aimed directly at K-Dub. I saw he had a penalty on a scoring play and several others on special teams. Each was of the overly aggressive type. I applaud the passion, but.....
derekshank
Anyone else unimpressed with Wright? Wright only led the offense well on 2 of his 7 drives - one for 46 yards, resulting in a missed FG, and one for 60 resulting in the only TD.In the other 5 drives, the offense gained 26 total yards. Now, there were 34 yards gained in the 2 big penalties alone. We had the ball 1st and goal on the 1, and had to settle for a FG! If you discount those big penalties... Wright led the offense for a total of -9 yards in his other 5 drives. NEGATIVE YARDAGE IN FIVE POSSESSIONS?!!For our 2 FG's drives, thanks to turnovers, we received the ball in FG range. We could have put a tackling dummy at QB and still come away with those points. We really need to get Wright more practice snaps if there is any question about Palmer starting @KC. ShulaSteakhouse
2 things have brooks and henry been playingOkay, inquiring minds want to know did Brooks or Henry play? Any other conspicuous absences?Henry did not, but was dressed. Brooks seemed to play less this week. Nothing impressive, saw him not making plays more than making them again. ArmyBengal
Didn't read the whole thread, but has anyone made the comment about Ratliff sucking ?? The INT was a gift and he hasn't shown any improvement from last year through the first two games IMO. He got burnt bad on the long ball to Evans as well. Joseph may get a WHOLE LOT MORE playing time in the nickel... Oh yeah, please don't let Ratliff return anymore punts as I'll pull what little hair I have left out !!!WHODEY !!! rwalling
Bauman's being carted out... Damn...Sounds like he might be done for the season. Really tough break for a truly nice guy. It hurts our corner depth, too.
ChadJohnson-85
It looked like a very tough knee injury and quite possibly a season-ender for backup cornerback Rashad Bauman in the final minute of the game. Bauman, one of the nicer guys on the club and winner of the Bengals Ed Block Courage award last year, left the field on a cart and the locker room on crutches, saying he has an MRI scheduled for Saturday. Bauman is having an excellent preseason. He had a big hit on special teams Sunday and almost had an interception Friday after Lewis said he might have had the best training camp by a corner. Tough week for the troubled guys. Matthias Askew got cut. Middle linebacker Odell Thurman, dressing for the first time, didn’t play. Neither did wide receiver Chris Henry. But Thurman only started practicing Tuesday and Lewis said Henry has a sore hamstring. How active has fourth-round defensive tackle Domata Peko been? Five days after being the leading tackler with six and sharing a sack, he had the exact same numbers against the Bills, trailing Friday’s team tackling leader Justin Smith by one. “Look who I play against every day,” said Peko, when asked for reasons. “Bobbie Williams, Big Willie. Those guys make me better.”Yep it dosen't sound good for Bauman. Didn't someone from the Bills get hurt too?http://www.bengals.com/news/news.asp?story_id=5415
bengalboomer7
Didn't watch the game, I decided to get sloshed instead. Looks like we gave up an awful lot of points.
aaronburr
I'm watching the game now for the first time....second quarter...Quincy looking good. Why does KWash need to celebrate a first down in a preseason game? What a tool.
Stripes
Why does KWash need to celebrate a first down in a preseason game?He dropped a pass soon before that too. Annoyed the hell out of me. I think he has a better chance to make the team than most, but c'mon.

HoTbOy
I was not to impressed with AWright in this game, I know he had backup O lineman in the game going against the Bills #1s, but so did DJohnson, he had to work with the #2s and 3s and he has been sharper than AWright to me,not only in this game but the Redskins game also, I'm beginning to wonder if DJohnson should be backup to CPalmer... redsbengalsbucks
The only aspect of the game that I liked was the TO ratio, but the D played sloppy and the O looked slow and confused when not in the no-huddle.I hope for better in the first half against GB when we will actually see the 1st teamers play together. ArmyBengal
K-Wash just irritates the hell out of me in general. Enough with bringing attention to yourself after a first down catch of 3 yards in the middle of the field !!! Just go out and play for, oh, I don't know, maybe just half the season to start, and prove you are worth a d*mn. Come to think of it, even if he did do that, it probably wouldn't matter. He's just one of those guys I love to HATE !!! F*CK K-WASH !!!WHODEY !!!
HairOnFire
Haters. Correct me if I'm wrong, but K-Dub's goofy 1st down gyrations have been toned down remarkably....and that's exactly what the haters demanded, right? So what's next? A further demand that he show no emotion at all? BTW, K-Dub was getting reps with the starters, the 2nd teamers, and even the 3rd teamers...and in my opinion he didn't drop a pass. The early failed 3rd down attempt was well defended, props, but the defender wouldn't have had a play if the ball had been thrown more accurately. K-Dub also showed plenty of nut as a blocker, repeatedly banging inside to take out a LB, including a critical block on Doug Johnson's scoring scramble. Last, I still can't see this team trading or cutting Washington....so with all due respect...eat it, Army.
Kazkal
God forbid Kdub have some fun well hes playing,
ArmyBengal
Last, I still can't see this team trading or cutting Washington....so with all due respect...eat it, Army. It's all good and his performance has gotten better for sure... I never said I wanted the guy to play with no emotion. As a matter of fact, he should play with all the emotion he can muster. My point is, up until recently, all the emotion he could muster, was expended on the one or two first down catches he made in a season. Like I also said, he is just one of those guys I love to hate and nothing will change that. Sort of like KK. I just don't like those guys.WHODEY !!!
