DesperateDerelict
This is based on an entertaining powder-puff article on FOX-Sports: FunHouse ArticleThe premise for rating "Best Fan" follows - just apply the "KARMA" Rule and nominate the best 'zone fan. (AUTHOR'S NOTE: Anybody nominating SPAIN is fined $6,835,926,837,939.88 ZD's)What is Fan KARMA? After many hours in the laboratory, Fan KARMA was created to put all fans on a level playing field and hand out comparative ratings. Think BCS, minus the controversy and Einsteinian formula. In short, KARMA is a trusty acronym for the five main elements that are taken into consideration when judging one's allegiance, given ratings of one through, and averaged together. They are: Knowledge: How much does someone know about their team? Antics: What about someone makes them a recognizable fan of their team? Reputation: Among other fans of the same team, is someone considered fair-weathered or hardcore? Motivation: Why is someone cheering for their team?Attendance: How often does someone attend their team's games? The finished product: A Fan KARMA score from 1.0 to 5.0. Anything higher than 3.0 is considered above average. All scores are rounded to the nearest decimal point with the exception of 4.9, which cannot, under any circumstance, be rounded up to 5.0. bengalboomer7
That's easy, ME Seroiusly, attendance may hurt him, but I'll go with Joisey(who I haven't seen around lately) The man always has soemthing worht reading in his posts
DesperateDerelict
BB - Attendance should be revised to include attendance in the 'zone, not PB stadium. Some more nominees: Hair, BJ, Big O, Army, etc
jditty47
i dont think joisey goes to many games...i dunno though. honestly though, i feel living outside of cincinnati it had been pretty bad being a bengals fan. living in cincy u had a reason to like them, and u might have gotten s**t for it, but its the normal s**t from browns, steelers, or ravens fans. as for the rest of us that live elsewhere, we got it from everybody. every teams fans made a joke at some point about me being a bengals fan. and not ever being from cincy made it even worse....do i get bonus points for flying across the country to just go to a bengals game? i even went to boring nothing to do nashville to see them play. bengalboomer7
That's easy then. Just look at your top ten all time posters. Billy, Kirk, and Joisey hold a substantial lead, but they've been here from day one. Army has been on here 24/7 lately it seems(that'll change when that baby arrives ) TDB is also on here often. I'd vote for any of those guys in a heartbeat, (after I voted for myself 18 times in a row, though )

GROIIIDayton
I think i've missed two games since I was old enough to attend. Those were during my college days when I was just flat out broke. I have to say I am the biggest fan.

Ditty just reminded me of an example that happened to me almost two years ago. I had my mom (who lives in Dayton) send me a Bengals sticker for my car. One day, I'm driving in the right lane of the interstate when a car passes me on the left. The car suddenly slows down so I could catch up to it. As I got next to it, I looked over to see what was up. Was it a hot chick wanting to flirt? Not even close. It was two dudes pointing their fingers and laughing. As I read one of the guys' lips (saying "bengals?"), I realized that they had seen my newly-placed Bengals-helmet sticker and in sheer disbelief that someone would be displaying the symbol of sucktitude for the last decade, had to slow down to mock me. I got the last laugh though two weeks later, when we beat the f*ck out of the donkeys on Monday night.
ArmyBengal
Well, thanks for the nomination, I went to every home game with my Dad for about 8 years before joining the Army and went to SuperBowl XVI up in Detroit as well. However, I have only caught about 4 games at the Stadium in the past 16 years of being in the Army. I must say it is very difficult following things with the team when you aren't constantly getting it from the local news like you do back in Cincinnati and are all over God's green earth, but that's what the "Zone" is for !!!Yes, I'm on here alot, and yes that will change (a little) when ArmyBengal Jr. arrives in October, but I don't know people on a personal level to make such a determination. Billy would jump out immediately to me, so that's my #1 pick, but I'm more than sure there are many more just as deserving !!! :player: WHODEY !!! :player:
GregCook
Guys, I've been a Bengal fan since 1968 when Paul Brown started this team. This girl here is also a Bengals fan. I won't mind if you pick her over me.

HoosierCat
That's easy then. Just look at your top ten all time posters. Billy, Kirk, and Joisey hold a substantial lead, but they've been here from day one. Army has been on here 24/7 lately it seems(that'll change when that baby arrives ) TDB is also on here often. I'd vote for any of those guys in a heartbeat, (after I voted for myself 18 times in a row, though )All that goes to show is -- to quote Bill Murray in the still-awesome film "Stripes," -- that there is "something very, very WROOOOONG with us." As to who is the biggest Bengals fan on the zone? That's easy: the guy who makes it all possible for us in the first place. B24...take a bow! JPW
Guys, I've been a Bengal fan since 1968 when Paul Brown started this team.I have also been a Bengals' fan from day one ...-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------But I should probably lose points because I have to confess, as terrible as it sounds now, before the Bengals I used to be a Cleveland Browns fan.I still remember watching their games with my little pad and pencil and keeping my own running tally of Jim Brown's rushing yards.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Of course all of that ended as soon as the legendary Paul Brown started his very own team, The Cincinnati Bengals. And even though I haven't lived in Cincinnati in well over 30 years now, the Bengals have always remained my team even thru all of the dark years.I have been waiting for a quarterback like Palmer since the days of Greg Cook, that is why I have reacted so strongly to him being taken out with a cheap shot.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I don't know about being the biggest Bengals' fan but I am pretty damn sure that I have become the biggest Steeler hater on the 'zone.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Scottishbengal
How about some of us guys who travel 8,000 to 10,000 miles just to see one game a year. Even thro the decade of shame! We use up holiday time, get ridiculed by colleagues, mocked at airports, spend a fortune, leave the wife (RIP) at home, make lengthy childcare arrangments - but enjoy every minute of it! I raise a glass to all likeminded Bengals fans who follow the team in any way they can
