Obejctivity is the excercise of considering all aspects of a thought, conpcet, idea, comment, action...etc. and then detemining the good and bad of the considered item.

Ethan was not the best use of our r7a pick...when we still need ACTUAL DB's/TE/DL and OL......an utter waste.

..no need to explore each pik, the sum totl is less than what could have been hoped for..

r1...project/prodigy CB.....major risk/major pay-off

r2...sleeper OT..with skills....not bad but overlooks more pressing needs.

r3...total reach player, when more prodcutive, higher skilled players were there.

r4...3 rounds high...project/motivation issue player...horrible considering the CB/TE talent left

r5...your run-of-the -mill criminal LB from a florida college...hoope he has a good lawyer...

r6...decent value for the round...good athlete...needs to be open to other positons..

r7a...worthelss...ST player who will need extra lcuk to make squad...wehn better players are there this is terrible.

r7b..probably inconsequential....a whatever pick...good luck.

SPin it how you want but objectively, we got maybe three players who can contribute...partly an effet of a deent current BEngals roster but also a terribely managed draft.

Are you reggie myles?

Nope...

cause I could have swore thats who I commented on oh and how often did reggie see the field outside of special teams

Very little.

The difference is that we are far deeper at WR than we are as DB. If we want a great ST guy, we should try to find one who is a DB ( a safety would be best) rather than a WR.

wait he was a pure special teamer who cost us the jags game because of his mistakes

Despite the fact that in the very first play of the 2005 season, Reggie caused the Cleeland kick returner to fumble AND tackled the guy who recovered it -- yes, he had a bad season. And he's gone. Aren't we supposed to be talking about this draft pick in this thread? Would the subect of Reggie Myles have even come up if he were not depicted as my "avatar" and ya'all want to jump me because I don't like these picks?

I commented on the player, the rest of you are commenting on me.

They're expressing their opinions. That's what message boards are for.

Attack my opinion, then, or defend the pick. If the opinion expressed is about me personally rather than the pick, it is off topic and little more than a personal attack.

Wah Wah Wah quit crying about the draft babies

The only one I see crying is you

Feel free to address the topic of the thread rather than attack people posting on it at any time

Your opinion is that everything sucks. Doesn't leave a lot of room for debate.

If you truly wanted debate/discussion, you would have expressed your opinions differently.

A gunner is a need, but I'd really like to have seen players with more than 1 dimension as special teamers. They already got Mitchell, Marcus Wilkins, and others.

I think we see some of those guys go away. We got some overstock on the defensive line, linebacker, and offensive line now. I'm a big fan of the "test 'em and throw 'em out" school. In other words, if you got a guy who is a kick-butt special teamer, take him and see if he can earn a starting or top backup spot. If in a couple of years he hasn't, throw him out and move on to the next special teamer. Which is why I was probably a little more upset to see Walters walk than most; we'd polished him up into a nice little player. When you do that you want to keep those guys, that's the whole point.

Anyhow, re the pick, BFD, it's the 7th round.

(Wait...no...stop...TJ...I didn't really mean it...OW!...OW!...no, not the shoe with the cleats!)

He runs the 400 meter dash in 47 seconds. That's fast.

Career Highlights: 2004 Olympic Games finalist; 3rd at 2004 U.S. Olympic Trials; Runner-up at 2004 & 2005 NCAA Championships; 10-time NCAA All-American
