Ko looks like he might actually fall that far, but we've passed on him twice after all.

Has Terna Nande been picked yet? Eric Henderson? Those two are at the top of my board.

they haven't but mybe they still might snatch Ko up in 4th mybe they'll figure he woulden't make it that far...but Falcons and Chargers are still teams to take him

Now think of it preatty good chance we still get good safety

Watkins, bing & Ko still on board I wonder who will be this years shazor

My big board for rnd 4

1.)Ko SImpson

2.)Gabe Watson

3.)Darnel Bing

4.)Pat watkins

5.)Mcclover or Anderson

6.)Day or omar jacobs

I think that if either Ko or Watkins falls to us, they have to be taken.

I could certainly dig the Watkins pick.

Ko is starting to look like Shazor 2.0.

dunno kos ball hawk :P I thing if anyone is might be bing

I think Ko is worth the risk in 4th for his lack of experiance and he'd have 1-3 years sit behind jackson well he developes more + be depth incase someone went down

I don't get it either Kazzy. Ko didn't run a 4.8. It was in the mid 4.3s if I remember correctly. There must be a good reason, though.

Lack of exerpiance IMO being a 22year old soph

Jusr read that C. Perry will miss the spring camp with knee surgery....SO we've got THAT going for us....

look for a RB to get taken on Day 2..knowing this new nugget of info.

we did resign watson

We don't need Two Carry Perry.

Pick up a UDFA who will be a lot more durable, and give the third down ops to Kenny

Yeah, now that we have a top-notch TE Carson can throw all those balls to him.

Oh, wait a minute...

Meanwhile, back on topic, there are still a lot of good DTs on the board: Watson, Wright, Harris, Mahelona, etc. Still hoping they snag one.

it better not be ryan hamby . as a buckeye supporter i do not want this guy at all . a lot of people bashed him after the teaxas loss . i said it was a bad game he will recover he never did he just got worse as the season went on missing key blocks droping everything that came his way .

Out of the Top 97, I got 74 gone and 23 left.

Of 2nd rounders I had, 6 are still out there floating in no man's land:

Demetrius Williams, Ko Simpson, Gabe Watson, Max Jean-Gilles, Orien Harris and Mark Anderson. I'd take any of them except Gilles in the 4th.

Of 17 leftover 3rd rounders, among the positions are:

TE -- None (Tim Day projected in the 4th).

S -- Darnell Bing (Pat Watkins and Greg Blue projected in 4th).

DT -- Babatunde Oshinowo, Jesse Mahelona and Barry Cofield (Rod Wright, Jonathan Lewis and Kedrick Golston projected in 4th.)

LB -- Brandon Johnson, Tim Dobbins and Leon Williams (Spencer Havner and Keith Ellison projected in 4th.)

At this point, I'd like to see them take Ko, Watkins, Brandon Johnson, Lewis, Oshinowo or Leon Williams in that order.

Pretty good shootin, Tex. Thanks again for stepping into the role of draft guru and chief bengalszone mocker.

The Bengalszone Mock has been a lot of fun to do. I'll add that of the 23 Day 1 misses, 19 of those players I had in either the 4th or 5th rounds. The big leapers for me were Tavaris Jackson who I had in the 6th and Eric Smith who I had in the 7th. The biggest surprises to me were Schlegel and Frostee Freaking Mother Rucker, neither of whom I had drafted.

I hear you on the DT. It turned out to be highly wishful thinking that McCargo would last down into the 2nd round. At this point I could live with a straight bullrusher who can hold a gap and probably swing some nose in 3-man fronts -- LeKevin Smith, Domata Peko, Steve Fifita, etc. But to me that's such a limited role that a 6th or 7th is all that's justified -- unless Jonathan Lewis comes into play.

5. Max Jean-Gilles, OG, Georgia

6. Jonathan Lewis, DT, Virginia Tech

7. Demetrius Williams, WR, Oregon

8. Ryan O'Callaghan, OT, California

9. Rodrique Wright, DT, Texas

10. Mark Anderson, DE, Alabama

11. Martin Nance, WR, Miami (OH)

12. Ray Edwards, DE, Purdue 13. Greg Eslinger, C, Minnesota

14. Spencer Havner, OLB, U.C.L.A.

15. DeMario Minter, CB, Georgia

16. Pat Watkins, S, Florida St.

17. Orien Harris, DT, Miami (FL)

18. Omar Jacobs, QB, Bowling Green

19. Stanley McClover, DE, Auburn

20. Dee Webb, CB, Florida

21. Marcus Hudson, S, North Carolina St.

22. Alan Zemaitis, CB, Penn St.

23. Kai Parham, ILB, Virginia

24. Reggie McNeal, QB, Texas A&M

I've always been a watkins fan. The knock on him has always been that he'll need time to develop. That's a luxury we can afford now with Jackson. In terms of overall potential, Watkins has been my favorite non round 1 safety in the draft. He could be a freak.
