TJJackson
Here's some news about that young widebody DT Langston Moore. You know, the one that Ben Wilkerson said was the toughest DT he had ever facedThe one who was critical in our win over Dallas a coule of years agoThe one who we gave up on in favor of -- Mathias Askew.....ie Mr Inactive----------------------------------------------------------------Cardinals | Moore re-signedMon, 3 Apr 2006 09:02:02 -0700The Arizona Cardinals have announced the re-signing of exclusive rights free agent DT Langston Moore to a one-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.-----------------------------------------------------------------If I had a dollar to bet, which I don't, I'd bet you all he will be a pro bowler by the end of his career. The_Next_Big_Thing
I actually agree with you here. I think letting Langston Moore go was a big mistake.
Kazkal
agreed shoulden't have let him go though hopfully though I don't think askew is out of town yet sense he is still one of youngest players on team and theres reason why marvins kept him so long
Spain
greed , but what do you think about my theory of he is Marvins homosexual lover? You can add Folley and Zo,Steele to that list for me.
Stripes
I was never as high on Moore as some people were. I've been higher on Askew as well. Call me stupid, but in the end I think it could prove to be a good move. I don't expect Askew to be seeing the bench for all eternity... When the coaches dub him ready, he'll play. Spain
TDB with all respect, his coaches called him inactive. In football terms fat and lazy. Time to give up he is gone!

Tasher
so that's why the Cards released him last year at the end of training camp...I wondered about that.Yeah, right. Pro Bowler, maybe on the PBA Tour!
TJJackson
Hehe, we'll see :-)Clearly, they liked him enough to bring him back in

ArmyBengal
While Moore might have been better than what we had last year, Marvin sent him on his way for a reason. I'm happy with the direction we appear to be headed in...WHODEY !!!
Kazkal
Well if he's gonna be a probowler though good thing they only signed him to a 1year deal so mybe we can snag him back next year
Tasher
practice fodder to wear out the fat boys on the other side of the line.what does the rest of the depth in FA look like? oh, that's what i thought.Gee, Cardinals and Defense are synonymous, too. The Mexico city game was an awesome display of defense, oh wait...so that must mean that the coaches are great talent evaluators...but...methinks they are guessing! Cause they sure guessed wrong last year! So now they are sitting there going, "wait a minute, I know!" "Lets get that one guy back, you know, that less is more, I mean Moore." He's gotta be better, cause he's a big fat boy!" so that's why the Cards released him last year at the end of training camp...I wondered about that.Yeah, right. Pro Bowler, maybe on the PBA Tour!Tasher! It's been awhile man.well, now that the good stuff is heating up with the draft and boy are back in town for off season workouts...you know, gotta get my typing back in form with some off season posting of my own......and ready for preseason! Besides, i know everybody missed my sig!

Whur CHad At?
Yeah, I'll take Adams instead. Let the Card's have him, and continue to suck and become the New Bungles.

Call me stupid, but in the end I think it could prove to be a good move. I don't expect Askew to be seeing the bench for all eternity... When the coaches dub him ready, he'll play.I don't see how Askew becomes a factor with Adams in the fold. The DT rotation now is Adams, Robinson, Thornton, and Smith. Unless they drop Thornton (possible but not likely) I don't see Askew breaking that rotation. It's a shame. The guy has a lot of talent, but seems to have little drive. If Marvin can't get results out of the guy, you have to wonder who can.
Spain
OK if he wa so great why does he never make it on the field? the guy is blowing Marvin for a roster spot!
ShulaSteakhouse
I cringed when they let (gulp) Kimo go to the Steelers and Moribito to the Panthers years ago.Not so much with Moore, since Smith's a slightly better player with more upside I think. Askew can play too, if he wants to.
