Broncos | Webster signs two-year deal

Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the Denver Broncos have signed free agent LB Nate Webster (Bengals) to a two-year contract with a signing bonus of $200,000. The deal includes base salaries of $585,000 (2006) and $720,000 (2007), but the second year of the deal will void if Webster plays in 70 percent of the team's defensive snaps.

But his lasting legacy will be the hit that he layed on Corey Dillon at the goal line in the preseason game in 2004. If anyone has that video clip I'd love to see it again.

It is too bad that it didn't work out. However, his injury led the way to Landon Johnson becoming a good player for the team.

Mike Sando, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports free agent LB Kevin Bentley (Seahawks) will visit the Cincinnati Bengals on Wednesday, March 15.

Agreed. Webster was all well and good, but after just one season, Odell is doing much more to deserve his comparisons to Ray Ray.
