HairOnFire Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 A sad end to a sad story. A 200k signing bonus and peanuts for pay tell me the Bengals made no effort to keep him. He's done. Nate, thanks for the fish. (Singular) Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 Looks like the injury cost him a lot! Quote
Stripes Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 Bye bye, Merriam. I was never very high on him anyways. Quote
jjakq27 Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 But his lasting legacy will be the hit that he layed on Corey Dillon at the goal line in the preseason game in 2004. If anyone has that video clip I'd love to see it again. It is too bad that it didn't work out. However, his injury led the way to Landon Johnson becoming a good player for the team. Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 I still think he has promise, but Odell is the next Ray Ray without the stupidity. Quote
TJJackson Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 the injury was/is/always will be most unfortunatethen again, had he not gone down, we might not have drafted OdellBye, and better luck with the Broncs Quote

Stripes Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 I think everyone's happy we have Odell..... Agreed. Webster was all well and good, but after just one season, Odell is doing much more to deserve his comparisons to Ray Ray. Quote

I think he'd be more of a Marcus Wilkins replacement. Quote
