NYBengalfan Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 Should we pick him up??? Yay o Nay? Quote
HoosierCat Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 Been there, done that. Trevor Pryce, OTOH, may be worth a look... Quote
NJ29 Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 I think yay.He is old, and not a long term guy, but he's a tough, veteran leader. The kind of guy our D has been lacking. Quote

BigBenBlows Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 How about big Sam Adams from Buffalo. He's a little older but he can still stuff the run. Quote
TecmoFever Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 How about big Sam Adams from Buffalo. He's a little older but he can still stuff the run. And it sounds like Adams would like to come here. If we can do it cheap and short-term, then I see no reason why we shouldn't. Quote
turningpoint Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 why not both and make both our starters. Bring in pryce also and madison and Malloy!SIGN EVERYONE! Quote
derekshank Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 That's exactly what I was thinking Joisey. When I saw Trevor Pryce was released, I immediately allowed the John Abraham fantasy to leave my mind. Quote
Spain Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 I too like Pryce, however he would never get in on third along with water boy there. Thats a tough sell. Quote
Stripes Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 I too like Pryce, however he would never get in on third along with water boy there. Thats a tough sell.If we pick up Pryce, my assumption would be that he'd be in for the majority of downs replacing Geathers, and that wouldn't be as much of an issue. Quote

turningpoint Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 ya'll really think were going to sign an FA we'll sign someone, but it will be cheap and not for more then 2 years. Not to metnion who really gives as**t about that draft now, not like were goin to get the guy into camp cause we sure as fck will have no clue what to sign him for or how to sing him, cause no1 else will either. God, that just sickens me to think about. You're right though, as we saw last year, teams waiting on other teams to sign their players. It was a nightmare and I don't see it improving this year... WHODEY !!! Quote
turningpoint Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 BTW i'd much rather have Andre carter then trevor Pryce, young talented, fast and a college teamate of Deltha Noeal's so he could find someone to mold with into the defensive system decently well. Quote
