Which of Marvins projects will succeed

Ok we all know Marvin takes his risk in the draft. So lets look at some of these guys.

Fanene, had a great two plays looked great want to see more of him.

Stacey might mean the end of Willie here.

Tab The best pick last year IMHO, this guy is going to be a stud.

Henry, taking it up the .... soon.

Askew, the guy sucks his thumb a wasted pick.

Wethersby, bad luck.

LJ damn good pick, will start one day.

Caleb, very average

JJ, had one fat year but is very average.

Geathers, just doesnt fit here with Pollak.

KW has been good.

the count is three projects came out really well. S Andrews, Tab, LJ will be starters one day.

Cant count these guys. Fanene, Ghichac,Keft . They seem to be progressing.

The bad, Askew ,Henry, Caleb, Geathers.

I remind you these are all 3rd round our below. So Marvin and our scouting dept. Is kicking ass. They have missed but they are batting 5 hundred.

Kelly Washington could have a great year with Henry gone.

KWash didn't step up when Warrick went down 2 years ago. There's no reason to think he'll ever live up to his potential. Especially if he loses playing time to Tab.

Geathers has made plays and fits fine with Pollack. They played on the same college team for Christ's sake.

I question the inclusion of Round 3 picks in the topic of "projects". Especially when you leave out most of the Round 5, 6 and 7 picks. Of the 7 players you ignored from Marvin's drafts, only 2 (Scott Kooistra, Greg Brooks) are still on the roster today. Not that I expect guys like Mauice Mann and Casey Bramlet to be impact players, but if you're going to figure out "batting averages", you should include them in the equation.

You might also want to consider the undrafted guys like Ben Wilkerson, Kevin Walter and Jamall Broussard.

DUDE! W E A T H E R S B Y is old news. Forget about him.

PSSSSSSSTTTT.... Reggie Myles picture by your name... PSSSSSSSSSSSTTTT

 F. Cleveland has a point T.J., Reggie is as old as news as Weathersby is.

He made a post claiming Myles to be his favorite Bengal just 5 days ago....dude has lot of catching up to do.

Hw can you call Robert Geathers a bad pick? He was taking in the sixth round and started the next year. Geathers is a DE, and Pollack is a OLB. There is no conflict in these two fitting togethor.

JJ is under rated as a blocking back, just like Rudi is under rated as a RB.

Without a healthy JJ the running game would stumble unless you think Watson or Perry can lead block as well.

I would much rather have a healthy, under the radar JJ than Lorenzo Neal throwing his hissy fits.

First, I'd like to say I'm glad to see you over your "YO itis" you had going on for a while... :D

Next, I'd agree without all the other 5,6,7 picks, this is not a realistic question.

Tab Perry is the man !!!

WHODEY !!!

Geathers was taken in round #4, but i agree that he's not a bad pick.... was slowed last year because of his move to the inside on passing downs.... "Jumpy" will be alright....

I agree, and I think he is underrated as a pass receiver as well. The man caught three touchdown passes in 2005. I think he has earned a few more looks in the red zone next year, and maybe some goaline carries.

I've seen people say "Anthony Munoz is my favorite Bengal" or "James Brooks is my favorite Bengal" or "Rod 'Toast' Jones is my favorite Bengal".

Well, ok, I've never heard anyone pick Toast as their favorite Bengal, but you get the point - Reggie is my favorite Bengal. I'm fully up to date, folks....my opinion just happens to differ from ya'all's

Reggie Myles is nowhere near as "old news" as Weathersby. Myles at least played this past year, and has a chance to return to playing. Weathersby is probably lucky to be alive right now, and has no chance at a return to the NFL.

When I think about "projects" guys like Stacey Andrews come to mind, and I've seen absolutely nothing that makes me think he'll ever become more than an oddity who happens to take up two seats on the bench.

If anyone wants to argue the point, watch the Chiefs game. Andrews is frequently handled by much smaller defenders, afew nd far more importantly seemed totally clueless about how to play within a blocking scheme. In fact, on the plays where he did appear to be killing somebody you could almost always see where his spacing is so bad that other defenders have no trouble leaking past him to the ballcarrier. It resulted in one of the worst games the Bengals have had running the ball recently, and it didn't matter which back they used.

You all think that this will be Willie's last season as a Bengal?

............ He's a sentimental favorite of mine, would hate to see him go.

And yes we gotta keep JJ. He shows great athletic ability, and he is the backbone of the running game, if he goes, the running game goes as well.
