  1. I heard the announcement that Cam Taylor-Britt was cleared for practice today this made me realize that I had completely forgotten about him when I said CB was the most likely r1 pick for 2023 my bad anyway, I guess we will see over the next few weeks if he has what it takes to be a starter, or if he is the second coming of the Mr Glass ie Brandon Ghee. so far, albeit its very early in his career, looking more like the latter btw, Dax is healthy and mostly not playing. If the other safety we drafted were healthy, would he even be in the 53?
  2. The problem with Ossai's production has been in part because a big percentage of the snaps they have given him have come at DT rather than at his natural DE spot If he starts to get more rotation time with Henderson or Hubbard at DE, I suspect we'll see more production from him and the H Boys Aitch Team (who will be more fresh)
  3. Carman will most likely get the same chances as Price and Ogbuehi when he is finally let go here Kinda shows how desperate the NFL is for OLs Now I will say Billy did have a few good games here and there. I recall him getting a game ball at one point.
  4. quite honestly, tho, the Superbowl window is still open.....they should look hard at players on the trading block that could provide immediate and strong team improvement before the trading deadline Im not saying I have any identified, just that they should keep their eyes open this year and next
  5. I look at the 1, 2, 3, and 4 picks as needing to potentially be starters since we do have those large contracts to do, like you said we need some rookie starters to achieve the savings needed to resign those absolute stars
  6. I want them decaled to say "your ass goes here" that ok?
  7. way too early, yet I'll talk about it anyway The first four picks as I see it should come from (in no particular order) TE - I like what Hayden Hurst is saying, and I hope he signs a 3-4 year extension before the draft. If he does, this position can wait til later rounds for depth. If he doesnt, they need to go TE early DT - Similar to the above, kinda depends on where DJ Reader stands at years end. Yes, I know he's signed through 2023. I love DJ. Hope he extends. If he doesnt, they need a baller at NT, preferably one who can help the pass rush a bit. An absolute stud 3 down DT would be wonderful CB - I like Apple a lot better than I did before he became a Bengals. he's resurrected his career here. I think he'll ask for elite CB money. He's good but not elite. We probably are losing our TE-covering CB as well. We need to look for a starting quality CB. This probably needs to be the R1 pick LB - Germain Pratt is a FA after 2022, and unless he wants to sign for fairly team-friendly money I think we lose him, although I think he is very underrated and will hate to lose him. Have to save money to extend Wilson, though ---- so TJ, no OLs? WTF dude? well, injuries could change this, but with the OL settling down this past week I think the OLine we have is finally earning the big money they were paid. We need depth at all 3 spots, especially OC, but those guys can be picked up in R5 or later

  9. Random neurologist: "uhm fellas? that was sarcasm" NFL: "you're fired"
  10. I think since the Browns have a division victory they are in first by tiebreaker ...I think... but its still a damn good day to be a BENGALS fan :-) D Reader: get well soon dude!
  11. every AFCN team lost cept us :-) WOOT WOOT thank you Falcons, Bills, and Jets :-) aside: Giants won again???!!!??? wow
  12. JETS TD JETS TD everything is coming up B E N GA L S ! ! !
  13. Jets at Pitt 1 3rd down 18 seconds
  14. Jets at the PItt 9 first and goal down 3 with 50 seconds remaining
  15. BILLS WIN ON THE FINAL PLAY WOOT WOOT
  16. CMON BILLS! you can do it!
  17. but is his pricing as good as Moobs?
  18. I hope they bring in a vet NT or two for a looksee this weekend Tupou could use some help
  19. thats just not right, mem :-)
  20. Yeah, he definitely has a higher floor than Carman I dont see Carman being with this team in 2023, and honestly, with Scharping already here, I dont see us needing him in 2022 unless we are hit with a huge number of injuries at OG
  21. Im not ready to say Volson is the guy yet, but the initial results have been encouraging
  22. also, to mem: so you will recall that the draft we took Carman, we passed on Teven Jenkins (your guy) and Sam Cosmi (my guy) Cosmi was rated at the pro bowl level last year, and is the starting ORT for the Commanders Jenkins has had some odd issues this year and is rotating at ORG with another player, but has posted PFF scores in the 70s while the other rotator is posting the lowest pff scores on the online, so I think there might be some personality conflicts with the coachign staff at play. either way, the two guys we passed on are great players, and we got Carman
  23. Volson is making more mistakes than I'd like, but he is nowhere near the liability as that scumbag Carman is He's approaching average already, which frankly is astounding, even with the benefit of two seasoned veterans flanking him The rookie I want to see more of aside from Dax is the DT, Carter, particularly in pass rush Is Dax getting special teams snaps, folks? The snapcount reports only cover O and D snaps. I dont like them putting Ossai at DT.....his strength is pass rushing as a DE. He should be rotating with Hendrickson. I see Carman getting released at some point, and it is almost certain that someone will pick him up as a reclamation project at that point, Pretty much the same as Ogbuehi, who amazes that he remains employed in the NFL
  24. GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  25. I like this Tide Pod challenge a lot better than the previous one
