I'd say they have to run it after running the playclock down to 1, then kick the FG
-
The first down is more important than scoring now

not that this is much of a silver lining, but both Miami and the Chargers are down by 2 scores
-
One good piece of news - Miami down 7 to the 9ers at the half
-
cant believe they didnt just take the points, Coulda gone up 7 again
-
Looks like Clevelands new qb didnt play well, 21 of the Browns points were defensive or ST scores also he got booed at home
-
Sucks big time that the Broncos couldnt take down the Ratbirds for us even with Lamar injured But Jets and Titans lost, and Pittsburgh and Cleveland won (worsening their draft position) so thats pretty good stuff Obviously the best thing of all would be a win over KC, but Im greedy so give me 9ers over Miami too, please

much better Q1 than either game last year :-)
-
this is bad.....this means theyll have to expose him to waivers now when they could have just signed him to the 53 this week S H I T !!!!!!! so fucking stupid

Naturally, free agency results do affect the draft to an extent. I mean, had we handled free agency properly two years ago, we almost assuredly wouldnt be stuck with Carman now. That said, I look at the draft as being more about the intermediate future, and FA for the immediate future, so to me they are somewhat separate So I still want pass rush first and foremost, but I'd like pass rush in the FA period as well. Main target would be a new 3TDT, since Hill has regressed considerably since last year, and although he has shown some occasional flashes I dont think Carter is a starter (didnt mean to rhyme there, sorry) On a related note: I havent been able to figure out why they let Domenique Davis go and kept the Blimp (Shelvin) on the PS. I'm all in if Shelvin shows some serious improvement (and probably a loss of 20-30 pounds of fat) but I havent seen any

who gets the second ticket? possible a Texans fan?

Id feel a whole lot better about the matchups if Chido was gonna be out there If we lose, I will feel a whole lot better about it if Juju gets absolutely decked on his ass again. Doesnt have to be Bell, but that'd be nice if it is you know, like this:

thanks for thinking of me, but I was thinking about sneaking some arbys from the Heath location into some sports bar and watching this particular game live I think the Cleveland and Baltimore games might be more important than this one, but KC versus Cincy was an absolute classic (twice) last year
-
Which team (Bills and Cheatriots) do we want/need to win? whats best for our own path to a playoff seed? Im thinking a Bills win is best so the Pats get close to elimination
-
we still had a rax on the far outskirts of cincinnati up til about 3 years ago

well, of course, he cant hand said sandwich to you. he will need to punt it to you at the 5 yard line at your age, i recommend calling for a fair catch

If they want to keep Huber on the team, they can do so by re-signing him to the practice squad
-
well, its wednesday, and Chrisman might as well be working the drive through window at the Arby's in Heath at this point
-
what I want to know is how productive he can be on special teams it doesnt take much at all to exceed Mike "Hands of Stone" Thomas's production on offensive snaps, but he was seemingly pretty good on ST
-
Would love to mem, but even at the deep discount you're offering I cant after being out of work 2.5 of the last 3 years Good thing, tho - you'll make back most (perhaps all?) of your season ticket purchase price on just this one sale. Niiiiice. The damn lawyers just keep gettin richer :-)

Well, you are guessing that he is protected. we dont actually know that so I wont sleep well til he is elevated for the third time (which should be this weekend), which according to what I have read means he has to be signed to the 53. I have to wonder who they let go, since they seem reluctant to part with Huber. I mean, ok, I get it, Huber has been a great Bengal with no doubt whatsoever, but its time. Everyone goes at some point. Even New Guy will go someday. Sorry Mem. Anyway, if they keep Huber, my best guess is one of the two every-week-healthy scratch OLs (Carman and D'Ante) or Bachie. I'd prefer, in order, Huber then Carman then Smith then Bachie as a distant 4th as I see him as a contributor one other thing - it may seem ridiculous but since someone said they cant sign Huber to the PS - actually, with the new PS rules, they can. Maybe he does that to remain a part of a team that he feels can win the AFC again, for a second chance at a ring.

Ive corrected my statement.....yes, the original wasnt stated quite right That said, he is still on the PS and he can still be signed by another team; and we cannot afford for that to happen also, the protection thing isnt really protection at all. Its like a condom with a hole torn on top. Essentially, it only protects players for 5.5 days a week. On those remaining 1.5 days, the player can be signed by anyone. Any NFL team would simply look at that and have sex, err make deals, during that window
