And It Just Gets Better for Browns Fans
TJJackson replied to HoosierCat's topic in National Football League
The big Browns fan I know is thrilled....and I do mean that seriously.......that Watson may be out all next year -
so next, our former linebackers coach needs to hire......a linebackers coach I havent heard if he's accepted the two defensive back coaches who the Bengals didnt fire, but he does deserve to have the coaches he wants on his defensive coaching staff Ill be interested to see if he wants to push Hubbard out the door or encourage him to stay as a vet backup He needs to pull in one (err, at least one) stud pass rusher between now and next september

Id prefer the Bills win, and (sorry Army) they are my favorite of the 5 remaining teams to win the Superbowl I feel like they are like us in the sense of being a small city team whose been to the superbowl a few times and never won. I was also a big fan of Thurman Thomas back in the day I think they have the offensive firepower to put up enough points against KC that the refs simply wont matter

Cmon Texans.....no more Chiefs in the playoffs......knockem out, please please please Lord God, if the Texans win, I will work with Stripes and Jobu to resurrect Army's pet rodent, dead by blunt force trauma aside to Army: he may turn out to be an angry revenge seeking flesh eating zombie rodent, so take precautions

I dont know that the Zimmer we had as our DC is the same or better Zimmer now But if he is even 90% of the guy we had before, Ill take him over any other candidate.....he's more of a sure hing to get us back to at least a defense rated in the teens If he doesnt want to be DC but would be willing to help out our D in some other capacity, I'd take that too

Erickson is a good kid. I would like to see the Texans and Detroit in the Superbowl

one more offseason priority WR Diontae Johnson D O N T sign him no matter if he takes vet min and the extra job of handwashing the Lumina twice a week

so when deciding on an NFL city to visit, also check out the food that is special or even unique to the city New Orleans is rife with great eats Baltimore is legendary for crab cakes and other crab-based eats Shittsburgh has, uh, well, hmm......a cold cuts sandwich that includes fries and slaw, and if you ask to not to have those on your sandwich, they yell at ya

while I get that, I'd still say Trey is part of the solution and not part of the problem That said, i think I see some light at the end of the tunnel on the DLine. Ossai, Mt McKinley, Jenkins, and even Johnson dramatically improved their play. The only outlier was Murphy. I really hope he gets his shit together over the course of the offseason, because athletically he has the tools OG looks like it will be a major problem going into 2025. Volson, dude, what happened? You were doing well before. Whatever changes they make, the glaring problem that needs to be in focus at all times is the annual september suckage

I kinda cant blame them. I truly believe the guy has first round level talent and they got him in round 3 They gambled They lost Coulda been amazing if they guy werent crazy sauce ah well If I were running the team, I'd arrange for a fellow to accompany him at all times - ostensibly a bodyguard/driver, but really, a minder. Makes sure that no assaults occur and all meetings are attended. If he doesnt accepting the babysitting service, yeah, outright release.

my hope is that they hire the DC and then let him recruit his own staff, which may or may not include the two secondary coaches we still have. The emergence of Josh Newton as a starting quality cb should count in their favor
