  1. Problem is, Rankins doesnt play Reader's position and he isnt quite at Reader's level of player in any case - a tier below. Rankins will rotate with Hill We have hole the size of the Crater in Arizona at NT.....Tupou is a FA too, is he not? Can someone crank up their DeLorean and grab Krumrie for us in 1987? Thanks
  2. BOO HISSSSSSS I am all for lineman, but as has been said many times, the best ability is availablility, and he generally isnt even when he is, his PFF rating isnt good
  3. I hate the Rapistburgers more than any other team, so this makes me very sad but I will never root against that guy. Good guy. And he's from that area and went to college in that area, so I get it but ngl, its gonna hurt seeing him in piss yellow
  4. You know what? Now that three days has passed and no word on Boyd, he may be willing to drop his price and at 3-4M + incentives, I'd absolutely take him back. wish we could pay more, love the guy, but he is in somewhat a decline
  5. I did Tyron is a left tackle and he's been injured every year for many years now Latham is absolutely my guy at 18. 100%. But I dont want him as a starter in 2024, At least, not til he is groomed a bit. I want a vet at ORT for game 1 of 2024
  6. The fact that Reader hasnt re-signed is quite worrisome. There arent many good DTs left that, and all of the good ORTs have already signed, and I dont want Jonah back mainly because he clearly doesnt want to be here these two positions are the key to free agency for us, and I havent heard even a hint of them talking with anyone
  7. More good news....here's the experienced TE we need https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/39715182/source-bengals-sign-te-mike-gesicki-1-year-dea and only 3 M :-) I wish it was for 3 years, but its just a 1 year deal
  8. the speculation is that it will be a late day 3 pick, and that pick could possibly be conditional, ie we get nothing unless his usage and/or production meets certain conditions If its conditional, it will be a 2025 pick, not a 2024 pick but yeah, either is still better than the nothing we were getting by releasing him I dont think this changes the cap. I think we still get the dead cap charge, same as before, only difference is that his salary and any 2024 incentives go against Houston's cap, which again changes nothing for us, cap-wise
  9. The new rb is younger, cheaper, and a MUCH better pass blocker, so I am happy with all that I think they are going to go with not featuring or truly starting a back. I would bet good money if I had any that, assuming both are healthy, two backs will see a roughly equal number of carries I have no ill will against Mixon, I just wish he had accepted a pay cut, but very very few players ever do that
