WHY? Flacco has scored an average of 37.6 points in 3 games and is 1-2! What is Burrow going to add? You are a Saints fan so I’ll give you a pass because every Bengal fan on the planet can see that NONODY can win with this defense!!

I know this is a rhetorical question, but how do the Ravens, Steelers, Eagles, Packers, Lions, Bills, and Chiefs seem to ALWAYS be in the hunt, year after year, ESPECIALLY the Ravens and Steelers?

EXACTLY, Flacco has got the offense scoring as much as JB, so what difference does that make, if or when he comes back?!?! It’s NOT the OL OR the OFFENSE!! If anyone can’t see it’s the DEFENSE Lord help them!!!

This is the 58th year of the franchise! I predict the 60th anniversary year will be Lombardi time!

This isn’t sarcasm or criticism, it’s complimentary, you guys go much deeper into this game than I do, so I’m assuming the pre-snap read is something the QB does? If so, are you saying Dalton and Flacco do that better than Burrow?

It won’t happen, history only repeats itself with this franchise! IMHO, it’s been way more about the defense these last 2 years than the OL. Flacco has been sacked 3 times in 12 quarters, JB was sacked 5 times in 5.5 quarters!

Joe Burrow sacked 5 times after 5 quarters with Bengals OL in 2025. Joe Flacco sacked 3 times after 8 quarters with the same OL Burrow had.

After watching some talking heads on television pre-game, halftime, and post-game shows, against my better judgment, and then seeing some credible research, and statistical fact based opinions here, in the Bengals forums I’ve witnessed for years, I’m convinced that there are several Bengal fans that are just as knowledgeable and credible as the talking heads we see on television. The big difference is the credible Bengals fans are trading off making millions to be able to curse and say things they could never say on television!?! Maybe?

Just peeked into the Steelers’ forum and yes, ALL forums are the same! Steeler fans talking about how their defense imploded! Rarely, if ever, any credit to the opposition, however I will say that I was surprised that Tomlin DID actually give kudos to the Bengals!

Im sure it was probably the opposite fan scenario over in the Pittsburgh forums, saying a great Steelers offense and a hapless defense.” It seems you and I are the only ones in here willing to admit this! It is what it is and this is how the forums lean, and I ‘GET IT’! BOTTOM LINE: It’s NEVER this scenario; When the ‘home team’s offense rolls, it’s ALWAYS how ‘GREAT’ the offense was and NEVER, what a crap job by the opposition’s defense! When the offense gets stymied, it’s a CRAP offense and never a hats off to the opposition’s defense. The same scenario when the opposition scores many points, it’s ALWAYS a crap defense and I will take responsibility and claim I am guilty of this myself!
