  1. Per bookface there was an eviction notice filed against him from some place in the banks on the 23rd. $2,506.33 being sought. So I guess he’s busy moving this weekend.
  2. Wasted pick. https://www.wlwt.com/article/cincinnati-bengals-jermaine-burton-not-travel-team/63330955
  3. Cleveland continues its efforts to prevent the Cleveland Browns from moving out of Cleveland. https://apnews.com/article/browns-stadium-haslams-b1b5fb86c0a01f46b3ce84d505ef7e5f And the world has just one question: why?
  4. I’m just mostly looking at how positions fall at this point. This one was kind of unique as so far the first round has been trending more toward offense and when I press there on d I’m unhappy with the rest of the draft. And of course the big question is Tee. If they let him walk then WR early is in the mix since we apparently used our third last year on a kick returner…
  5. Well since we seem more or less settled as far as where we’re drafting, I gave the pff simulator a spin today. Actually like how this one turned out. 16: Jaylon Walker, LB, Georgia. Army wanted a linebacker, he gets the best one in the draft. Hybrid LB and edge type. Germaine Pratt, you’re on notice. 48: Xavier Watts, S, Notre Dame. Converted WR with a knack for generating turnovers. 64: Cam Scattebo, HB, Arizona State. Bengals base offense is now the wishbone.
  6. Six of with came against the putrid AFCS, Miami and NO. They’ve taken care of the teams they should have beat but they aren’t going far in the postseason.
  7. Lions and Vikes are good. Pack is mediocre. Bears are a horror show.
  8. Of note: Burrow finishes 4th overall in Pro Bowl fan vote. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/43238266/chiefs-travis-kelce-finishes-1st-fan-pro-bowl-games-voting
  9. Oh, I don’t think there is any question that they will move on.
  10. Cleveland x2, Baltimore x2, Pittsburgh x2 obvs. Home: Pats, Jets, Jags, Bears, Lions, Cards Road: Bills, Fins, Broncos, Packers, Vikings So 9 home, 8 away, no trip further west than Denver. Also, no Chiefs. Road schedule is tough, all good teams. But they should feast at home if they get their shit together in the offseason. Lions are the only obvious tough out there.
  11. Rankins to IR/NFI. https://www.bengals.com/news/bengals-place-dt-sheldon-rankins-on-reserve-non-football-illness-list-bengals-roster-update Apparently he tried to come back to practice last week, but couldn’t go and has reportedly dropped a bunch of weight. Exactly what he’s been fighting still isn’t known but the bookface group says he was hospitalized for a while. The rumor is meningitis. Tough break. I hope he gets well.
  12. The good news, such as it is, on the draft is that they’re at 16 now and the most they can drop is one more spot. I think the best they could do now is 13, and that would involve Miami getting in over Denver. Realistically if they lose and some other likely things happen, maybe they bump up to 14. But overall they are pretty locked in.
  13. All that and a bunch more. Missed kicks. Missed tackles. Stalling out in the red and purple zones leading to fourth down tries that fail. Injuries at OT and poor interior oline play. Underperforming draft picks. A front office that treats the trade deadline as just another day. And on and on and on.
  14. Yeah that’s my thinking as well.
  15. Fixed, thanks!
  16. Saturday 8 pm. Broadcast abc/espn. Miami/Jets, KC/Denver 4:25 pm Sunday. Browns/Ravens is Saturday at 4:30 pm so the Steelers will know if they still have a shot at the division by game time.
  17. I think the only competitor is Vikings/Lions, which will determine the no. 1 seed in the NFC. In that sense it s a sure thing but both teams will be in the postseason regardless. We’ll see.
  18. Well, if I’m the nfl schedule guy, I want a game with playoff implications in the SNF slot and the Bengals @ Steelers game is the only game has that potential. So I’ll put my chip on it being the regular season finale.
  19. Nope. In the 12 seasons from 1991 to 2002, the Bengals won 55 games. In the 12 seasons from 2008 to 2019, the Browns won 51. Even Mike Brown can’t out-Brown the Browns.
  20. Intentional grounding on a screen because the receiver ran the wrong way. I mean it’s a LITERAL clown show.
  21. Clowns suck
  22. Clowns gonna clown…13-3 Fins.
  23. Wait, what, I missed this, they dragged this disaster out even longer? (checks news) Ah I see gives them an out after next season.
  24. Evan isn’t going anywhere. Adomitis OTOH…York’s miss was another bad snap. Glasgow has been pointing this out all year. The kickers aren’t the issue. Don’t be surprised if you hear the name Jeremy Crenshaw called for the Bengals on day 3.
