  1. Yeah, now that you mention it, it could happen. As Army alluded to, it looks like he picked a bad year to bet on himself.
  2. On the Baltimore front, no Lamar at practice today, Huntley getting all the reps.
  3. You have to admit, that 1990 Lumina over in the employee parking spot looks brand new, tho.
  4. Broadening the thread topic out a bit to former AFC Central teams news, looks like Tannehill is done for the year with an ankle injury that will require surgery. So if the Bengals end up going back to Tennessee in January, it’ll be Malik Willis time. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35301005/titans-qb-ryan-tannehill-very-likely-season-ankle-injury
  5. The Pro Bowl doesn’t exist anymore. Now they’re having like, sack races and hot dog eating contests. Should be entertaining at least.
  6. Injury report after yesterday’s walkthrough: They are leaving for NE after morning practice tomorrow instead of Friday due to the incoming bad weather.
  7. None of these guys want to be the reason they drop a game. If SOMEONE calls them “soft” again I swear I will find him and cram a bag of footballs down his throat.
  8. Yeah, I think we can put all the 2021 Bengals were a fluke, easy schedule, blah blah blah bs to bed permanently.
  9. Weather report from cbs. Wind could be an issue.
  10. Bengals are 3.5-point road favorites in this one. O/U 40.5.
  11. Yup. Even if the Jags lose the Bengals secure a spot with a win Sunday. Meanwhile, the Rams were eliminated by last night’s loss, tied for earliest elimination of a defending champ ever.
  12. Damnit 62 is too young. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports/mlb/reds/2022/12/19/tom-browning-former-reds-pitcher-with-perfect-game-dies-at-62/69741778007/
  13. Aw, damnit. Memo to any who need to hear it: if you are struggling with alcohol, there is lots of help out there. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35286702/medical-examiners-alcohol-caused-adam-zimmer-death
  14. 2-4 weeks per the Enquirer. So he might be back for the Ravens, but I wouldn’t bet on it. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports/nfl/bengals/2022/12/19/cincinnati-bengals-de-sam-hubbard-calf-injury-update/69740666007/
  15. There was also the assist from Gio. But yeah they had like five TOS and three were forced. Pratt’s pick was especially noteworthy IMO. (And speaking of INTs they should have had two in the first half but our DBs have hands of stone.) Bucs might have leant a hand but the Bengals firmly won this game.
  16. Hubbard (calf) was in a walking boot after the game yesterday. Zac didn’t have an update after the game so we’ll just have to see how that progresses. CTB (shoulder) and Mike Hilton both said postgame they would be good to go vs. the Pats. Obviously it’s not up to them but that’s encouraging.
  17. Yes, head to head is the first tiebreaker as long as the teams aren’t in the same division. Then you apply the divisional tiebreaker first. Obviously doesn’t apply to KC or Buffalo.
  18. Oh, in case anyone missed how the Pats lost today… (Annoying I know click through)
  19. Good man! And yup Lady Luck cashed in a lot of chips today!
  20. I pulled a you today and bailed out of this thread in the Q2. Did give me a chance to find a few more Bengals fans on Mastodon tho. Whodey!
  21. This week’s challenge: If this game starts off badly, can ANY of the usual game thread suspects NOT throw in the towel before halftime?
  22. I don’t think he had control but they won’t overturn it
  23. D getting shredded
