  1. Still shocking that Parrish is rarely in the HOF conversation when it comes to Bengals as well. The number I read that makes this such a glaring omission is: "One of only 6 cornerbacks with at least 8 pro bowls and the only one of them that is NOT in the Pro Football Hall of Fame."
  2. Cooler heads should prevail with this one, but that's a good point Hoosier. Anyone still thinking it's feasible to extended both Higgins and Chase? If the Bengals had any interest in doing that, which they may have, the recent contracts have all but extinguished any thought of that happening. Can't have Burrow, Chase and Higgins eating up that much cap space.
  3. Oh yeah, forgot the option year. Thanks. Agree this makes sense for both sides. Higgins and Chase both leaving would be hard for fans to swallow.
  4. While I do not share some of the thoughts out there about Lee being a massive steal, I do think he has the potential to overcome his perceived weaknesses. One of the big knocks on him was his weight, but at 6'4, it sounds like an NFL weight room and trainers will be able to help him gain weight solidly and not just add fat. I'm excited for his future, but not if he were expected to start any time soon.
  5. Plus there are more WR's coming up to an extension as well, with the same intent on resetting the market. The Bengals already know where they stand with Higgins and need to move forward regardless, IMO. Love you Tee, but we know how this story ends. Here you go Chase. CHI-CHING...
  6. With time left on Chase's deal, which I thought was up sooner, would actually benefit the Bengals in locking him up longer. They already know what he will make this year and under the tag next year. Just figure that shit out. Not getting cheaper.
  7. Well there’s the Jefferson deal to beat (4 Years). $35 million per year in new money. $110m in total guarantees, $89m of that at signing. Fucking ouch !!! So how much in trade could we get for both Higgins AND Chase? lol...
  8. While I understand that in premise, it's really stupid. So Chase won't sign until Jefferson does so his contract is bigger? Give it a month or so and some other WR will sign a new deal bigger than his. So who really cares? Now you see a guy like Tyreek Hill, who signed an extension already bitching because all these other guys are getting a bigger deal than the one he currently has. It's like a cycle of shit where they are never happy with what they have. Although these are voluntary OTA's, I would then hope his absence has nothing to do with his contract. I mean what point is there in staying away when you are waiting for someone else not associated with the success of your own team? Who exactly are they "showing"? It's not really a question I need answered, as I don't really care, I just find the whole thing really stupid. God forbid I only get $30m, when that guy got $30.1m. I DEMAND MORE.
  9. Between the brownies and lemonade we project a net gain of $7.23. Don't say we aren't here for you Ja'Marr !!
  10. Yeah, jumped right in this morning. Yes, big time THANKS !! Where were we? Oh yeah the upcoming bake sale to be able to afford Ja'Marr. I'm bringing brownies. Anyone?
  11. I was going to comment about that earlier today but haven’t been able to get on the site. Someone go kick the hamster cage and get their asses back on that wheel !!!
  12. Ok just wanted to make sure it wasn’t something I was doing. Took nearly two minutes to load the home page, get the Bengals sub forum, and load this thread. If this was the 90’s and my dial up went that fast, I’d be thrilled. Just saying…
  13. On a hilariously ridiculous rumor, the Bengals trading Higgins and their 2025 first round pick for Justin Jefferson, while being amazing, is completely insane. Sure would be fun though !! Side note… Anyone else having issues getting on the site or the pages loading?
  14. I don't know what the Bengals are waiting on here when it comes to Chase. With every passing day, that contract gets more and more expensive. While trying to figure out how to cut costs, the price continues to go up.
  15. I like Nico Collins and am happy for him, but they just gave that contract to a WR that, until 2023, had never had a 500 yard receiving season and no more than 2 TD's in a season. Stroud goes a long way to seeing him achieve the numbers he did last season, but damn. If I'm Higgins, I'm asking for $30m a year now.
  16. When taking a look at the WR depth chart there in Philly, I would say he has an equal chance as some of the other names of making that roster. Picking him really hurt this team when considering others on the board in that draft, but I wish him luck.
  17. Bengals former 1st rounder Billy Price is retiring at 29. Apparently he’s undergoing treatment for a pulmonary embolism and is thankful to be alive. Pretty scary shit right there and understand why he’s calling it quits. Too bad he never lived up to his draft status here. I loved him at Ohio State and was happy when we drafted him. Without him we wouldn’t have BJ Hill here either. Wish him health and the best of luck to him and his family.
  18. I would have no issue with Lapham either, due to his overall meaning to the team and how much fans love him. Give me three for this season: Parrish Dillon Lapham
  19. Parrish should be in the Hall of Fame. Absolutely should be one of the ones selected this year.
  20. Not because he pops off about it every year but Dillon should be one of them.
  21. So taking a closer look, the Bengals got Trent Brown as our starting right tackle and Amarius Mims in the first round for about what the Cardinals paid Jonah Williams for the next two season ($30m). Brown gets $4.75 for this season. Mims should sign a deal a touch more than $25m for the next 5 years. For perspective, last years #18 pick got a 5 year deal for $25m. LB Jack Campbell from the Lions. I like how that all turned out for sure !! Well done Bengals !!
  22. So Jonah Williams will be staying at right tackle for the Cardinals in 2024 since they decided to move first round pick from last year, Paris Johnson to the left tackle spot. Johnson started at right tackle for the Cardinals last year.
