  1. I don’t think Cooper Rush is all that bad. Not saying they are going to the Super Bowl, but he can win games for them. ”F” the Cowboys though…
  2. That was Ngakoue. I said they should have signed him when he was a free agent. Just stupid.
  3. Fire Lou now. Seriously, that’s fucking egregious.
  4. Week 3- 33 points and lose Week 5- 38 point and lose Week 10- 34 points and lose Have we ever seen such shit? I mean from an offensive standpoint. Of course I’m excluding all of the 90’s.
  5. When you score 30+ points in a game and lose in the NFL, that’s on the defense and those coaching the defense. We have no defense. No defense = no playoffs.
  6. Where does this shitshow travel to next week? Out to LA against the Chargers. Whatever....
  7. Here we go Texans, here we go !!
  8. It's easy to forget how inept this ownership has been when having a season or two of success over the recent years. When the team is contending, ownership is on easy street because fans will flock to the stadium and buy all the merch. However, when there's a down turn (which happens more often than not) the problem is again glaring. Sadly, ownership hasn't figured out what it is that actually brings fans to the stadium and pro shop. Field a competitive team, look like you know what you are doing and fucking win. I think they should all be thanking God every night that Burrow and Chase happenstanced their asses to Cincinnati. Without those two, this team is more 1990's than 2020's. I'd rather take my chances with them selling the team to someone else. We know how this story ends already. The same way it has every year since 1968. At least they have consistency on their side...
  9. "Golly gee willikers Pumpkin, our boys lost tonight despite all the time and effort talking about how good they were." "I mean what else are we suppose to do?" "What's that? Defensive players to help before the trade deadline? How could that help?" "I'll tell you what will bring the boys around, a silly hat day and free water for everyone." "I'm talking those expensive pointy paper party hats you see all the kids having fun wearing at birthday parties." "Whoever can beat me in a potato sack race, gets to keep their hat and wear it on the sideline of the next home game." "Yep, winning ways are coming soon I'll tell you." "Just wait and see pumpkin, just wait and see."
  10. I've never been so sick watching the stupidity of this team. Yeah, missed penalties. Yeah, the refs. Yeah, all that. How many times in big situations do they throw or put it in the hands of guys that shouldn't be involved at that moment. 4th and short and lets throw a long ball to Burton instead of going to Chase, Brown, Gesicki or anyone that hasn't been a headcase. I don't have a problem with the aggressiveness of what I saw tonight, but that was just trying to be cute. Lou Anarumo. Yeah you. Please let me invite you to go fuck yourself, you sorry ass piece of shit coach. Even had they squeezed out that win, this is not a defense that could be counted on to be consistently stout. Just sad when considering the firepower of this offense. Fucking sad.
  11. My interest in this game is it comes across as a gut check kind of game for me. What's this team about? Will they step up despite some players being out, knowing the season is on the line or will they quit? Can the intensity everyone has been talking about from Burrow last week influence the rest of the team and it shows in the play tonight? Who are you Bengals? A win tonight would not only be impressive, it would really help them with identity and confidence. I think it would also breathe new life into some (me) Bengals fans outlook for the rest of the season.
  12. There's always this perspective to hang our hats on if/when this team catches lightning again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJusV2J9Nlo "Nope, not that day". Love that. Whit and Fitz together should be pretty interesting to listen to.
  13. It’s not this week but I totally missed the Bengals at Chargers game getting flexed INTO Sunday night football November 17th. The Colts Jets game was slotted and now moved out.
  14. So you're telling me there's a chance !!
  15. Being "Over" confident would have to start with BEING confident. That I am not. Burton is obviously more of a child than I originally thought. I gave credit to the thought of him training with Housh and him saying Burton was past all that nonsense. "He's misunderstood" was uttered as well. Unfortunately for Housh, he no longer gets that benefit from me. Any player he recommends in the future will now carry a question mark. Burton cost Housh that luxury with me as a Bengals fan. I had REALLY high hopes for Burton and was wrong about him. Still rooting for him to pull his head out of his ass, but agree about the lost year. Maybe more. Hope his immaturity isn't terminal.
  16. Pretty much
  17. That is one of the saddest thing I’ve seen written about the Bengals. While COB is always funny and there is humor in that statement, it’s 100% facts. God help us…
  18. Apparently Lamar Jackson hit the injury report with a knee ding, but expected to play.
  19. Aaaaaaaaaand nothing. Got it.
  20. The most recent name I've seen multiple places is them look at Calais Campbell at DT. Apparently the team is calling teams about D-Line and CB help.
  21. Yeah, there seems to be a muttering of rumors like that. DE, DT and CB dominate those conversations. If the front office truly believes that adding a couple of players is what will get them back on track, then fucking make it happen.
  22. It's something again that needed to be done. Apparently the change of scenery should help him. Additionally, the Bears OC is an absolute idiot and didn't really figure out how to use him. A 7th rounder is next to nothing. Hopefully we get more than that in return.
  23. Nothing massive but something nonetheless... Bengals traded a 2025 7th round pick to the Bears for RB Khalil Herbert. Had to do something with Moss being out indefinitely.
  24. THIS game is the one which should be viewed as a "must win" in my opinion. With 7 teams making the playoffs, the Bengals currently sit in 9th behind the Colts despite having the same record. They are actually 1 game out of the last spot at the moment, but their conference record sucks ass. While they could still make it if they drop this game, it's more than just getting a "W". It's beating a very good team that happens to be a division rival. There's no stat for knowing you are capable of playing and winning at that level. Losing this game I think results in an absolute crash of the team. In all honesty, this team is not good enough to beat the Ravens and certainly not on the road in a primetime game. All that being said, I never count out a motivated Joe Burrow against a team he's very familiar with.
  25. I watched most of the game. I wanted to be excited but wasn't. Beat the Ravens Thursday and we will talk.
