  1. I would have considered Joe Milton from Tennessee, but he came off the board. Honestly though, it wouldn't surprise me to see them simply bring in an UDFA to fill the 3rd spot, so no harm really. My trend throughout was athletic guys that seem to really love the game.
  2. I have been playing around on the Draft Networks new mock draft where you can enter a room and draft against other people in real time. They have up to 10 people drafting for whatever team they choose and it's been a fun time killer. Had one this morning I liked the way it turned out. Traded down from #18 to #24 with Dallas, who selected OT Amarius Mims. In return, I picked up their 2nd rounder, #56. #24. Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma (6'7, 322, RAS 9.72) - A true RT that doesn't need to start year one, but could. #49. Cooper Beebe, OG, Kansas St. (6'4, 322, RAS 9.27) - Experienced with starts at all o-line spots except center. PHYSICAL #56. Ja'Lynn Polk, WR, Washington (6'2, 204, RAS 8.83) - Dude should be ranked higher and would fit our offense. #80. Payton Wilson, LB, NC St. (6.3, 233, RAS 9.88) - Falls due to injury concerns and age, but is a steal here. Love him. #97. Maason Smith, DT, LSU (6'5, 306, RAS 8.38) - Big athletic run stuffer. Fits in the rotation and provides solid depth. #115. Theo Johnson, TE, Penn St. (6'6, 2.59, RAS 9.93) - I really like this kid and think he should go higher as well. #149. Elijah Jones, CB, Boston College (6'1, 185, RAS 8.93) - Another player I really like. I like the attitude and physicality. Traded up from #194 to #177 with Minnesota and gave up a 2025 6th round pick. #177. Isaac Guerendo, RB, Louisville (6'0, 221, RAS 9.9) - I don't really care for our RB depth and another kid I like a lot. #214. Myles Cole, DE, Texas Tech (6'6, 278, RAS 9.93) - The late round DE I had mention earlier. BIG TALL kid. #224. Ryan Watts, S, Texas (6'2, 208, RAS 9.11) - Move from CB to safety and always in need of special teams guys. #237. Tory Taylor, P, Iowa (6'3, 229, RAS ---) - Do I need to explain? That's it, my final mock based on what I would love to see the team do in 3 weeks. Can't wait to see who they actually add to the team !! Christmas in April !!
  3. I was all in on Newton, but that has changed drastically over the past month. I would however still like the pick if he was coupled with a big run stuffer like Sweat. Just not on his own. Not a fan of Rice personally. It would depend on what other WR's were still on the board. There are bound to be (what I believe) to be much better prospects than him in the 3rd. Love the Theo Johnson and Tory Taylor picks. Agree with taking a DE in the later rounds as well.
  4. Collins is a shame. I was hopeful he would have given us 2-3 years but those injuries have been brutal for him.
  5. Buffalo gave Diggs to the Texans. Yeah, the Texans gave up a 2nd round pick, however.... Since the Texans traded out of the 1st round this year, here's another perspective in relation to the pick given. The Texans basically traded out of the first round, got Diggs, a 6th in 2024, a 2nd and 5th in 2025. The 2nd they gave the Bills was from the Vikings in the trade out of the 1st. That's a really good deal for the Texans. Since I follow the Texans as my #2, I'm happy about this as well. God knows my son is !!
  6. The Bills lost their #2 Gabe Davis as well. Think they are going heavy WR in the draft ?? Yep !!
  7. Dont know what your current interest rate is, but with it being between 6%-7%, it makes it harder. Couple that with the cost of homes continuing to go up and downsizing won’t save much if any. I got into my new home in the middle of COVID and am carrying a 2.95%. Nope, not moving any time soon.
  8. The Texans give up a 2nd next year and get Diggs, a late round pick this year and next. Not bad for a player that has put up 4 consecutive 1000 yard seasons despite his unhappiness with the team.
  9. Agree TJ and add onto that the massive school levy which drove up property tax and I have to wonder who the hell thinks this is sustainable? I’ve said it before and will say it again. NO WAY I vote to provide public funds from tax payers to billionaires. I love my Bengals, but will gladly show them the best deals on moving trucks. Might even let them use my Kroger points to fuel up.
  10. I wouldn't mind seeing something new on the field, but not banking on it either. Maybe something like the patch on the new draft hats. Personally, just the state of Ohio with the Bengal stripes, no wording, would be cool if I were choosing. If they just had to have the B, make it white at the bottom left corner where Cincinnati is located.
  11. I remember the grass as well. If I had to Imagine a football field looking like an abortion, the PBS grass field would be what I would think of.
  12. I thought that’s what they just took out. The slit film shit. Probably still more than grass but I don’t know if that difference is staggering.
  13. I couldn't care less what they put in the stadium. I hope it looks nice and feels as good as possible for the players, but it's neither here nor there for me. Grass... Turf... I'm in the living room or the stands. Possibly a bar. It doesn't affect me.
  14. Saw they started tearing up the turf at the stadium. Should be interesting to see what the new stuff looks like.
  15. Danika? Is that you?
  16. I like the 2 point conversion rule change. I don't want to see a high degree of success with the new kickoff rules unless it's only the Bengals having success !!
  17. Wow first time in 9 years there was a post here. Something tells me it might be 9 more years before a response to the above post.
  18. All the more reason to now target a return guy with speed in the draft. I remember when that use to be a thing teams would do and then with rule changes, it kind of went away. If this encourages that, I like that.
  19. I do remember that happening to Brown because my buddy is a Raiders fan and we were talking about it. He was a Navy Corpsman and I was an Army Medic. I cannot even recall how many 1000's of IV's I have administered during my time in the Army. Makes me think back to once we became incredibly proficient, we began finding ways to do them in situations that were more challenging. Young and stupid, getting hammered drunk and starting them on ourselves with night vision goggles. Believe it or not, that kind of had benefits, as I had to start them under fire on the battlefield in the dark. Who knew ?? Good times !!!
  20. I know the Patriots were "said" to be a team interested in Higgins. In looking, they currently have the #34 overall (2nd pick in the 2nd round) and then I would guess on them sucking somewhere close next season, depending on how well a rookie QB would fare on that team with such change taking place. Even if they were to improve to the tune of about 8-10 places in the draft order, that would still net top 15 value for Tee. I could see that as a viable option, but it just seems so far out of character for this organization that it's hard to fathom. Not to say it won't, but it's not something I'm about to place a bet on.
  21. Yeah, the Chiefs were screwed on that deal. I'm happy about that.
  22. I haven't really looked into the kickoff thing at all. Probably should... Agree about the hip drop tackle. It seems to vague to make an accurate call each and every time. They have enough of adding confusion and refs not being consistent across the board, without adding more. It sounds like the Bengals are listening to offers by reports, but outside of it being "reported" by ESPN, I don't know where it's originating from. Honestly the Bengals SHOULD be listening. There's no reason not to. They won't give him away like the Chiefs did with Sneed, but if they were to get a 2nd this year and next, that might be enough for them. Maybe a swap of first round picks, with the Bengals moving up, plus a 2nd next year. I don't know, but they might want to wait to pull the trigger until draft day to keep other teams off balance. The latter scenario would ripple the first round to a degree depending on the team making the trade.
