  1. Seems like we got a haul on the UDFA guys.... I had a 5th rd grade on McLaughin and sixth round grades on Lux, Etienne, Cross, and Gregory....
  2. Not a clue what the Bengals think they are doing.....this would have been a great pick if they had taken Ratledge in RD2
  3. Heartsick about Ratledge, so many good olinemen have gone in the 2nd, very few starters left....
  4. Mad about Ratledge, Knight is a he'll of a LBer. Who the hell is playing Guard?
  5. Emmanwori Green Ratledge Watts Sanders Schwesinger
  6. Can't do Higgins that would be too weird.... same height, same name same build......yikes
  7. Since I believe Green and Emmanwori will both be gone by 49, I am pushing hard for Ratledge, he checks all the boxes....37 starts at Guard, highly graded, at Georgia with a 9.96 RAS.....umm sign up.
  8. Golden talked a lot about that in the press conference, doesn't seem too concerned.
  9. I understand not taking Green in the first, but if he drops to 49 you have to pull the trigger. Edges with his production just don't exist in rd 2. That said, I believe he goes in the top 5 of rd. 2......
  10. My guys in Rd.2....in order. Mike Green, DE, Marshall - yes even after Stewart Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina - my god the athleteism you would add to the defense Tate Ratledge, OG, Georgia - perfect fit at LG next to Mims. Carson Schwesinger, ILB, UCLA Xavier Watts, S, Notre Dame Jonas Savaiinaea, OG, Arizona T.J. Sanders, DI, South Carolina Jared Wilson, OC, Georgia Kevin Winston Jr., S, Penn State Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss
  11. Stewart is a gamble on greatness....the kid just turned 21, it is likely that if he came back to college he could have been a top 5 pick in next year's draft. He fits on the other side of Trey, this allows Kyle's to backup Trey. I also believe this is Trey's last season as a Bengal.....
  12. PFF in their live two round draft just took a trade down from 17 to 25 for a couple of 3rds (this year and next) and still took Nolen at 17 and then Ratledge at 49...I am feeling more and more that this is the draft plan.
  13. My best case scenario (no trades) 17. Walter Nolen, DL, Ole Miss 49. Tate Ratledge, RG, Georgia 81. Kevin Winston Jr., S, Penn State 119. Danny Stutsman, LB, Oklahoma 153. Ty Robinson, DL, Nebraska 193. Myles Frazier, G, LSU
  14. OT - Mims, Brown, Cochran, Kirkland G - Ford, Volson, Patrick, ? C - Karras, Lee I think they have some steam on Guards that they like that are going to be released after the draft
  15. Nick Wright is a KC Bobo who knows the Bengals are the Chiefs biggest threat in the AFC. I would love Hendrickson signed at the right price but my right price would be less than 30. If they cannot, trading him for a high second and late third would work for me. Take 17 and replace Hendrickson, there are several mid first level guys at Edge and then take your new second and new third and use them to fix the interior o-line.
  16. All..... I am working on a plan here. Acknowledging the the FO has fucked around with Higgins and Hendrickson enough that the damage is irreparable, we trade Higgins to the Pats for number 37 and 77 (from Detroit) and trade Hendrickson to the Raiders for 38 and their comp pick 92. This leaves us with 17, 37, 38, 48, 77, 81, 92 and our normal 4th, 5th and 6th rd picks. We need to fill Higgins' X role, Hendrickson and Hubbard, both Guard slots and we still need help at LBer, Safety, and CB. The targets at 17 would be Ty Warren (TE Penn State), Mike Green (DE, Marshall), James Pearce, Jr. (DE, Tennessee), and Emeka Egbuka (WR, Ohio State). At 37 we look for Guards, either Zabel or Booker At 38, depending on who we took at 17 we either go DE or TE/WR. Targets would be Princely the DE from Old Miss, Jaylin Noel (WR from Iowa State), Colston Loveland (TE, Michigan), or one of the two DEs from Ohio State (Sawyer or JT) At 48, I want to go DB and I like Watts from Notre Dame here.. In the third I want to double down on Guard and DE while locking up one of the RBs....perfect scenario would be Skattebo or Kaleb Johnson at RB and Donovan Jackson for Guard. At DE Landon Jackson from Arkansas or Robinson from Alabama. In the fouth, fifth and sixth just BPA making sure you pickup a good second WR prospect (Higgins in the fourth would be incredible) and a good CB like Dotson from Kansas or Dorian Strong from VA Tech. What do you think? We would replace Hendrickson, and Higgins, fill both Guard slots and get faster, younger and more athletic in general.
  17. I think one of those slots is being held for Raymond Johnson.....
  18. I feel it is SuperBowl or bust this, I really do.
  19. Rooting for Kuntz with #1
  20. Hard to tell because Illinois didn't pass much.
