raabeye
I cant believe how many marvin supporters there are. iIf you support this guy then I guess you all also live average lives, with average wives, and have an average job making an average wage. This city and its fans are very disappointing for accepting 8-8 every year as if thats great. I think its about time someone took Marvin to task. Folks hes an OK coach, who has done a good job of getting this team out of the gutter. But he will never lead us to the super bowl, so long as he is minus Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. Marvin has road the coattails of the offense- an offense that was already in place when he got here- while failing to put together any type of defense to complement the offense. Its about time to demand perfection and accountability from this team. Marvin needs to go. He did a good job being a defensive coordinator for the Ravens, but lets face it, that job was as easy as being the offensive coordinator for the 07 Patriots. So here are my reasons why Marvin should quit (Mike Brown will never fire him, so lets stop that talk right now)- feel free to add to this list:-Marvin has proven time and time again he is not capable of making sound decisions. -He has lost the locker room. -He treats us fans and the media like dogs (remember the "we have nothing at stake with the franchise comment)-His drafts are a disgrace. -He has been unable to draw any top tier free agents. (Sam Adams?)-Remember all those arrests? All too often the image of a city nationally and internationally is crafted by the performace of its sports teams. I know this first hand because of my job- I travel 200 days a year. And right now were the laughingstock of sports towns. And the sad part is Cincinnati is a great city- it really has everything a big city has, but with a small town feel. The whole region is going through a great revitalization that we may not see for another 100 years, which is why it bothers me deeply that we are considered a second class city by much of the country. Its time the world gets a positive view of our city- the first step is to get rid of this idiot coach and get some winning sports teams to help increase Cincinnatis exposure.
