The_Next_Big_Thing Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 What a crock of crap. Da Bears and the cowgirls are more likely to win than us? BULLLLLLLL Quote

What do you all think ??Frankly, given the uncertainty around Carson Palmer's status, I'm surprised the oddsmakers are that generous. Agreed, I expected the results to be closer to last year's 40/1. Without Palmer and Henry, we're the 2003 Bengals all over again. Quote
redsbengalsbucks Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 I think the Steelers and the Patriots are a little overrated and the Cowboys are way overrated. Given Palmer's ? Bengals are about where I would expect them to be. Quote
derekshank Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 If Palmer starts the season, I'd look for those odds to change in our favor. Frankly, with Palmer's rehab in doubt, I'd say our chances are significantly worse from a betting perspective than we are being given right now. I wouldn't make that bet right now. Too much risk... not enough pay off. Quote
Whur CHad At? Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Palmer will be back, I have a good gut feeling. And we will be on our way to Miami baby, nothing can stop us! Quote
BlackJesus Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Maybe we should ask the new commisioner ? Quote
Kazkal Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 aren't steelers 10-20 million over the cap next year? Quote
derekshank Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 aren't steelers 10-20 million over the cap next year? No, they are $4 mil over... but Bettis retiring relieves them of a $5.35 mil cap hit, making them under. Not by much... but they're under. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 At this point in my life as a Bengals fan, I just happy to see them in the top half of any prediction list or league stats sheets for a change. Don't be too quick to forget how s**tty being the league doormats used to feel. Being listed at 12 is euphoric compared to that agony... Quote
