I hate the homerness to it. This isn't even true whatis on the site today when they were talking about the season highlights.

4. Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson answer Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne. With the Bengals hosting the unbeaten Colts at PBS Nov. 20, Manning shoots Indy to a 10-3 lead on a 66-yard bomb to Wayne. Exactly 1:07 later, Palmer floats a 68-yarder to Johnson to tie it and just to let the Colts know that the Bengals aren’t going anywhere. The Bengals lose, but anybody watching can see they are simply a version of the 2002 or 2003 Colts.

They were losing 14-3 when this happend. They also wrote that Palmer will be back next year as comeback player of the year. 1 thing I saw yesterday was that the Bengals PR guy must have looked for a new quote from the doctors because of they didn't want season ticket sales to suffer with no Plamer. That's crap. I want Bengal news. Not Bengal propoganda!

Of course, Bengals.com is not as good as this site. When comparing Bengals.com to other official NFL teams' web, though, it looks pretty good. Good ol' Geoff Hobson usually puts up at least one readable article per day and it looks good. It's easy to navigate, too. Some other teams' sites are horrible.

On Palmer's knee - that doctor was a bit whacked to say what he did without clarifying it better.

The uncertainty should revolve around "when" not "if" he'll be back.

Preseason or season opener? 2nd game or 4th game? Somewhere in there probably if his rehab goes well, and there's no reason to think it shouldn't. The guy's only 25 years old and his arm is just fine!

Just curious. Has Palmer made a statement since the surgery? I know he said something beforehand, but I didn't know if he said he'll be back by training came since the surgery. I'm wondering if he thinks it will take longer since it was so bad.

Don't trip about Carson. The guy is going to get it done, just like everything else the man does. Just be thankfull he is not asked to run like a Vick-type QB. That would be BAD news. I am more concerned about our defense.

What statement would Carson make? When you're faced with at least a 6 month recovery and just started rehab, you don't have anything to say -- Carson knows as much as the doctors do at this point, nothing more. I've found something that really helps in situations like this...

Palmer was accompanied to Houston by his wife, Shaelyn, and by Bengals assistant trainer Billy Brooks. Palmer will fly later this week from Houston to Los Angeles, where he will begin the initial phase of his rehabilitation at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic.

"I feel very confident that things went well, that there were no unusual complications," Palmer said from Houston. "I want to thank our fans and fans everywhere for their support of me, and I'm looking forward to a great season for our team and myself personally."

Hob's is a very good writer....I think he is rather objective for being a team employee...

But I love watching his interviews! Man, it looks like he just crawled out of bed after a night of drinking and whores every time! He's not the best interviewer, but I like ole Hob's!

The content of Bengals.com come is only slightly homerish compared to some, and articles are consistently posted every day. I love our website.
