Stripes Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 That type of resolve was not something that you could have expected from them this time around because, for all their success this season, they're still a very young team. Only a handful of players remain from what Lewis describes as "the dark years" -- the 15 years that Cincinnati went without a winning season -- and a mere 14 players on the roster had played in a playoff game before. That kind of inexperience can always bite you in the butt in the postseason. One more step is complete on the road to the top. We have our playoff loss in now, and when Palmer gets back ready to play early next season, we'll proceed to move up another rung... AFC Championship? Superbowl? We'll see. Quote

cincyhokie Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 THAT is the most truthful and unbiased thing I have read or heard since the loss. Excellent stuff there. Quote
lando griffin Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Seriously, thanks for that link...as a bengals fan, it may be biased to say this story was an unbiased look at the bengals, but it definitely eased my mind quite a bit Quote

Jet23 Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Most of the Nation is hoping the Palmer injury will be enough for the Bengals to revert back to the 'Bungles'. It refreshing that somebody actually gets it. I too feel better after reading the article. Thx Joisey. Quote
