I've not come to post smack but to genuinly say well done for a cracking season. Lewis has turned a dire franchise around and this season you got that winning season, divisional title and home game in the playoffs to the Steelers. You have an explosive offense and your run defense even showed up yesterday.

I don't think anyone would be crazy enough NOT to think the game would have been a hell of a lot different if Palmer didn't go down. It changed your whole game plan to a style that suited us more. The game didn't go at all how I thought it would. You did a great job stuffing our run but I think we tactically introduced Bettis at the right time once you were a little tired and we had the lead.

Again, it's a shame to see Palmer go down like he did. I like the guy and acknowledge he's an elite player. I didn't think the hit was intentionally dangerous and hope the majority feel that way too. I've said it elsewhere but I would rather Palmer play the full game. It would have been a better gauge for both teams and if we lost I know we lost to the better team. If we won it would have been more satisfying.

Here's to a good recovery for Palmer and some more physical football games between us.

Now THAT is a classy Steelers fan post.

Much appreciated Turi. Best of luck to your team next week.

I appreciate your thoughts. On the other hand, there is no guarantee the Bengals would have won with Carson, but I would have liked for them to have the chance. It's just the Bengal curse. The Defense makes the Steelers punt, Palmer throws a perfect strike to Henry and both players are lost for the game.

I have to admit, I do hate the Steelers a little bit more today. And not because of the hit. The only difference between that hit and Odell's hit on Ben was Thurman was a tad lighter. I now have 0 respect for Ward, Porter and your db's. But, Bettis is a class guy and I have always liked Cowher.

Anyway, good luck against Indy. I am a big fan of any team playing a Manning.

Amen Steelers Brother. I would have liked to see the game played out with Carson in rather than Jon. That way we would know, 100% that the Steelers deserve to move on to the next round. Kitna gave it his all though, good job to him. Next year fellas, next year. The rivalry is going to heat up, Pittsburgh/Baltimore rivalry aint got s**t on the rivalry that Steelers/Bengals is shaping up to be. If Baltimore comes back to what they were, AFCN is going to be a feared division.

I think the Bengals and Steelers are going to have some great games in the future..

I feel Palmer will come back from this injury and be his old self once again and have some classic duels with Ben,,

Leave it to a Brit to have some class, eh? Thanks Turi, and don't be a stranger, or at least any stranger than you are!

I take back everything bad that I've said about the Steelers and their fans the last 24 hours...except Joey Porter.
