Stripes Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 Too all of you that attended today's game... Well done. During the first half, you guys/gals were as loud as I've ever heard Paul Brown Stadium, and we saw that in many Steelers false starts and pre-snap errors. Sure, the crowd was deflated once all hope faded, but when it mattered, you folks rocked. Also, well done in keeping the Steeler fans present to a minimum. Quote
jeffreedrocks Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 I agree, Excellent work Bengals fans. You guys made one hell of a lot of noise, but I dont think that the noise was the only thing that got the false starts going. Consider the anticipation, excitement of the game, and im sure there was lots of noise down there in the pit too. But the noise was definitley a factor, the SOLE factor, probably not. Also, I was amazed, never have I seen so few of my bretheren in the stands, especially at Paul Brown Stadium. Excellent way to show loyalty to your team. When do we start talking about the draft? I still think you are the bungles but you guys did better than many expected and got a tough break in the end. I think you would have beatin the steelroids if palmer was out there. but who knowsBTW Ox where in the world did you find the pic of the stooler fan LOL Quote

We win the division away from the Steelers, yet we're still the "Bungles?" Then what does that imply for Pittsburgh? FYI, I consider using the term "Bungles" as smack, and last I checked, this ain't that forum. You shall slide once, but only due to the rest of the content of your post which was decidely not smack. Can you avoid that? The division title holder deserves at least that much respect, don't you think? Quote

rizzy Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 The atmosphere was great at the game, but it turned ugly once Carson went down. I witnessed many many fights. Also the bettis family was sitting directly behind me at the game, that was very interesting. Bettis keep coming over and blowing kisses up to his family, very awkward when you are right in front of them. Quote
Kirkendall Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 The atmosphere was great at the game, but it turned ugly once Carson went down. I witnessed many many fights.People, mostly friends, came back to me and told me that this game had Bengals fans that were acting way out of hand. He said fans, at least some, just "weren't right". The Brew Man Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 It was the loudest ive ever heard it at PBS for sure, but the air did go out after the Palmer play. Still the team stepped up in the first half, found out the news at halftime and came back out deflated. Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 I was a bit upset at the Cleveland-like attitudes of the Cincinnati fans. Throwing stuff into the end zone? How classless! Pissing just outside the stadium instead of hitting a restroom? Classless. All the fights? CLEVELAND STYLE LACK OF CLASS!Next time, stay loud and excited, but remember THIS IS NOT CLEVELAND! Quote

None of the juvenile crap is neccessary people, though I doubt the type of people on this board need that lecture anyways. Quote
